Ohropax Classic Earplugs - 12 Earplugs

These are the best earplugs. I got them for travel and now I wear them all the time. I have small ears but these can be molded to fit perfectly so they stay in.

When I first bought these, it took a few days to figure out how to get them to work correctly. I read the directions and was pretty worried about them getting lost in my ear canal, so I wasn’t feeling super comfortable putting them in my ears. But after a few nights of sleeping with them, and realizing that they weren’t going to get lost hopelessly in my ear canal, I felt more comfortable molding them. Once you figure it out, it’s golden. It kind of sounds like being underwater. My husband snores really really badly and this has been so helpful. I turn on white noise and with these earplugs in, I’m able to get a good nights rest for the first time since we started living together.

My spouse is an awesome fellow but a very noisy breather/snorer in his sleep. Many earplugs I’ve tried in the past either didn’t stay in at night, weren’t that effective at blocking out noise or actually hurt my ears. The Ohropax Classic earplugs are wonderful!! They are very comfortable, work well in my small ear canals AND successfully allow me to sleep in the same room as my guy. Could not recommend them more highly.

The cotton-wax earplugs that I’ve used for many years have been discontinued. I didn’t like the outside cotton layer on these ears plugs so I just took off that material and use the wax plugs. Works very well and stays in my ear all night. I would buy these again and I do recommend them.

Using them for years . I'm a light sleeper and these do the trick .

I know some people cannot adjust to using the plugs. My advice is: try again.

Had to return it because it always fell out of my ear while sleeping….not working as advertised.

The Ohropax pink wax earplugs create a vacuum within the ear canal by virtue of being wax earplugs. This has caused me pain when used for several nights and weeks. Occasional use does not produce pain for me. I have switched over to using plastic foam earplugs which do not create a vacuum within the ear canal and are safer for long-term use. It should be noted that the Ohropax earplugs are effective for reducing noise but they do tend to fall out of the ear.

Habe beim Aktionsangebot 3x12 Ohropax "zugeschlagen" und bin seit eh und je mit Ohropax am zufriedensten, da alle anderen optional auch zur Verfügung stehenden Formen von Gehörschutz nicht an dieses Ohropax-Original herankommen, selbst wenn sie angeblich teilweise bessere Dämpfungsdaten angeben, so kann ich nur hierfür plädieren, sich damit auszustatten. Der Name sagt es schon, "Ohrenfrieden"....das trifft es wohl seit 117 Jahren. Ich bewerte nun nur das Produkt, jedoch nicht die Art und Weise, wie ich es bekam, denn das war jetzt unglaublich schlecht, ich habe nämlich als PRIME-KUNDE mehr als 2.5 Wochen davor bestellt und dann rief ich beim Amazon-Telefon an und dort lief es im Endergebnis sehr ungut und langatmig ohne Ende ab, sowie ein nicht eingelöstes Versprechen eines ausländischen Mitarbeiters, ich bekäme es nun viel früher, wurde auch nicht eingehalten. Auch nicht, eine mehrfach währenddessen mündlich angekündigte Bestätigung desselben Mitarbeiters über das Telefon, über die vollziehbare Entsprechung meines Wunsches wurde nicht nachgekommen. Wenn man also fast 3 Wo. warten muss, bis man seine wirklich wichtige Bestellung bekommt und alle vorgenommenen Telefonate doch ins Leere laufen ist das Prozedere dazu nur 1 Stern wert. Doch ich bewerte einzig das Produkt und das ist wie gewohnt 4 bis 5 Sterne wert, aufgerundet 5 Sterne! Normalerweise kaufe ich seit Jahren das auch in der lokalen Apotheke, wo ich immer meine 10 % Rabatt bekäme. Die rosa-farbenen Ohropax bestehen aus Wachs, das erwärmt sich und daher bleibt immer alles schmerzfrei, nichts klebt fest, alles dichtet bestens ab und ein kurzer weiterer Druck reicht, um sie noch dichter zu machen, das alles funktioniert nur mit Ohropax so gut. Die Farbe rosa steht hier für lind, sanft und so sind sie auch. Ich wohne etwas unerwünscht an drei Durchgangsstraßen hier mit Grenzverkehr im Kleinen Deutschen Eck zwischen den Gebirgen, dazu seit 8 Jahren Dauerbaustellen und einige Zeit lang auch auch Nachtbaustellen neben/schrägt halb unter einer Brücke, wo der Schwerlastverkehr drüber donnert und bin froh, wenn ich die unangenehme Dauergeräuschkulissen um rund 75 % reduzieren kann, wobei die Türklingel selbst in leiser Einstellung - wie ich sie einstelle - noch zu hören ist und ich aus dem Schlaf dann auch in den Wachzustand komme, wenn je geklingelt wird. Ich empfehle Ohropax und bleibe dabei.

Enda nackdel, det är väldigt ”sticky” på handen. Man måste fixa samband när man borsta tänderna och tvätta händerna och sova. Annars när man är på sängen om gör så, måste man gå upp och tvätta händerna.

As a referance, this has been bought in the intent to sleep peacefully in an university residency where people often makes a lot of noise (talk in the hallways, sounds of an elevator nearby, etc.). With these on, the sound goes completely out and my sleep is undisturbed for the whole night. They stick inside your ears and the material (wax) fit the shape of the ear perfectly. Just as it should be since you shape it yourself by warming it up with your finger before incerting it in. The fact that it doesn't intrude too deep in the ear is a plus. Furthermore, for the people wondering, the vibration of the alarms and the muffled sound of it close to my head still manage to wake me up peacefully. The earplug seems to allow the perfect among of noise to seeps through (Ex: smoke detector, any loud noise which are hight pitch, etc.). The only drawback seen in other comment which is valid is the stickiness of the earplug as you insert it, since a residue of wax is left on your finger as your warm it to mold it. In my opinion, it's a very drawback as you can simply put them in the bathroom, wash your hands and go to bed. 5/5. The only thing that could beat those are earplug that are molded to your specific ear from an audiometrist.
