Best barley tea I have found.
I'm very impressed, this is the best barley tea I have found. I had been searching for barley tea that tasted like the tea I had in a Korean restaurant. Unfortunately the others I tried tasted like over-roasted, burnt grain. The sachets contained what looked to be grain which had been ground up in a fine powder and produced a tea with bitter flavor and was not good no matter how weak or strong I made it, hot or cold brewed. I'm so glad I found 1 X 100% Organic Barley Tea, the sachets of this tea have whole grain which produces a much better tea and is very enjoyable without sugar or any other additive. I use one sachet with one liter of water and enjoy it hot or cold. The only English wording on the box is the name Organic Barley Tea, but.......for those who need to know........My box has a paste on label for nutritional information and it indicates to use one sachet for one liter of water, the most simple of all instructions, but you may need a magnifying glass to read it since it is printed in very small letters. This is great barley tea.

Used for weight loss and organ health
I recently changed my diet from eating a lot of unhealthy, carb-laden foods (fries, tots, beer, sweets, etc.) to a lower-carb, healthier diet. While adjusting, I experienced cravings for carbs, especially sweets. This tea would really curb my cravings. It also seemed to help me relax, although that could just be the comfort of drinking non-caffeinated tea. I also did some reading on organ health and this tea was recommended. I did notice a lot of positive results of eating differently and drinking this tea, including higher energy levels, no energy crashes after meals, no headaches or fatigue with the diet change. When I ran out of the tea, some of the cravings for carbs came back and it was harder to stick to the healthier diet. The taste is probably not for everyone. It tastes like what it is - it has a grainy plain oatmeal-ish flavor. I used a whole large bag for a cup of tea, so mine was strong. I adjusted quickly to the flavor. I recommend it for anyone interested in improving organ health and/or trying to cut out sweets.

This is the only tea I truly love and enjoy just as it is
This brings back memories of my childhood when my mom would brew Korean boricha, or barley tea. There was also a warm pot in the winter, and a cold pitcher of it in the fridge in the summer. This is the only tea I truly love and enjoy just as it is. No sweeteners, no honey, nothing. Its also the only tea I can drink at various temperatures - piping hot, hot, lukewarm, room temperature, and cold. I also find that it helps with nausea associated with pregnancy - and it is considered totally safe to consume during pregnancy.

Exactly what I was looking for
Many years ago, a Chinese restaurant I went to a few times served barley tea, and I fell in love with it. Trying to kick my caffeine/coffee habit, I wanted to switch to drinking tea in the mornings, and I remembered the barley tea and found this one with good reviews. It tastes just like I remember the tea at the restaurant. I don't have an actual teapot, so I thought the large teabags were going to be a problem, but I just leave the teabag in my cup and refill with hot water a couple times (makes about 3 decent cups). The flavor doesn't ever seem to get too saturated, which is great. I'd definitely order this again.

Love this stuff! Here is a little guidance for those who have never tried it before...
One tea bag will yield a very large mug of tea. I make mine in a large mason jar and it's perfect. This is roasted barley, which yields a very earthy, nutty tasting tea. It is not a tea that you would add sugar or dairy to. It's great at any temperature and is an especially good tea when you are trying to warm up and font need the caffeine.

I like it!
Love this tea. I started out questioning the taste, have been drinking it every day for over a month, and have grown to really like it. I was out of it for two days, awaiting the shipment, and discovered that it is somehow curbing my carb cravings because I wanted to snack all day when I had just water. But, I didn't snack because I am trying to lose weight. With the tea, no carb cravings! This really helps, in addition to the physical benefits of drinking barley tea. I steep it every morning, making around 56 ounces from one tea bag, and drink it all day until it's gone. I get the rest of my 64 ounces of water in other things I drink. Thumbs up for this.

Over roasted, not like at the Korean Spa
I visited a Korean Spa in Southern California several times and fell in love with the barley tea they served to all visitors. I researched it and found that it had tons and tons of health benefits. I was determined to start drinking it at home! I tried roasting my own barley at home but I don't think I roasted it enough so I decided to try a ready made version to see how roasted the barley is.I had high expectations for these tea bags because of the high reviews and also the supposed reputation of this brand in Asia. However, this tea was a big disappointment. The taste isn't great because it's overly burned/too roasted and not how I remember at the Korean Spa. I cannot imagine buying this tea again and think I will just try making my own again. I am going to finish off the tea bags that I already have but it's not that enjoyable just so so.

Decent
Maybe it's been too long since I had bori cha, but it just wasn't quite as good as I remembered it. Perhaps also when I had it previously it was made with fresh fried barley instead of a bag.

Delicious!
My boyfriend is Korean and we frequently go to a Korean restaurant in his town. I was obsessed with the tea they serve. He recommended this particular brand as being the most authentic. It's a great alternative to coffee and has a really settling affect. With no caffeine but a similiar flavour to coffee, it's an ideal substitute.

Love this tea, what else is there to say, will be buying it again - it does take awhile to get here, not a problem though!
