Fantastic fan! Loud, powerful and superb quality!

I never do reviews but I’ve been searching for a fan for YEARS now with the power and noise level this one has. After the fan that we had for almost 10 years (mainly used for white noise because we live by a busy road) decided to break for good, it was impossible finding a replacement. All fans now are made to be “quiet” which is beyond frustrating when you are wanting the opposite of quiet! We have a large master bedroom so most sound machines or fans tend to get lost. But this little guy covers our entire room with the perfect amount of white noise, blocking all road noise - even on the medium setting. I’ve went on to buy 2 more for my kids rooms because I’m so worried I’ll never find one like this again. We even travel with it. So coming from someone who has bought and returned countless fans over the years, this is truly the my favorite find of the year!

First 2 quirks. I WAS immediately disappointed in the size. It's hard to judge the size from stock photos. Grill opening is 10".The other quirk is I had a little bit of hard time with assembly. The space between the mounts on the stand is a slightly wider than the fan. I ended up dropping one side of the fan trying to mount it.Now the good stuff. I was immediately satisfied with the velocity this fan has. It is quite potent for it's size. It blows more on low than my older 14" high velocity Patton fan on low. I use fans in the summertime to distribute air throughout my apt. from my a.c.On medium and high it is louder. But it is a fan built for shop use and it isn't as loud as 20" and larger shop fans. For what I use it for, it does a good job cooling on low.It does vibrate some on medium and high. It's still a high quality product.This fan has what every fan should have and that is a permanently sealed motor protected from dust and dirt.Functionality - Very easy to use even though the switch is on the back of the unit. It's very easy to adjust the tilt and tighten in place.A bit pricey, but I think it's worth the money I paid for a long lasting fan. I'm glad I didn't spend $120 on a larger one.I didn't think I'd get excited about a new fan, but I did.

Purchased this 1.5 years ago and LOVE IT! Unfortunately it died (very mysteriously... no discernible reason!) and Vornado's customer service and warranty is FOR REAL. They have a 5 year warranty and it was so easy, so simple, and boom. As I wondered whether it had been approved, a replacement showed up at my door! Thank you Tornado for being my go-to company for all things fan related!!!

Finally kicked the bucket at less than 3 years. Always used indoors, but ran on max around the clock for most of the time and while I was not even home. I guarantee Theres 20,000 plus hours on this thing. I’ve had several similar fans run only a fraction of that time if I was lucky. Would have gave 5 stars if it lasted 3 years. Now gonna see how well the ,worry again.

This fan really moves the air, and it is loud enough for us to block outside noise on medium. The switch does not click when moving to the lowest setting, but that does not effect the operation of the fan.

I have owned several Vornado products over the years and it is a brand I trust. Living in a home without AC, air movement is important and this fan has been great for moving cooler air into my back rooms. It very quickly helps lower room temperature by several degrees. I like it’s low profile and ability to tilt it up and down. It’s not quiet, but it is a powerful fan.

This is an amazing fan. I have bought them for gifts. I love this brand. The power and air flow is amazing. I use ours in our camper.
