Thanks to everybody who made this happen
As somebody who beat the game on DS then second one on DS, then the remake on 3DS...I am absolutely elated this came west. So far its pretty true to the original story and even gives you the dread and impending doom feeling the games gave you. One thing though, play the games first so the music will repeat in your mind as you're reading this manga lol

I love manga just as much as the next guy
Honestly this book was not what I thought it would be.First of all I honestly expected a light novel, though this is a manga, no harm there, I love manga just as much as the next guy, but the story seemed a little bit forced, you could tell it is based off a video game, and not in a good way. Overall it is interesting and does leave you with a sense of mystery, but I feel like the story is lacking depth. It's a good book, but I wouldn't recommend it for the price I payed

Ah words can no describe how happy I am to see my favorite SMT game here ...
Ah words can no describe how happy I am to see my favorite SMT game here as a manga and get released in English! Needless to say I'm so thrilled they kept the MC's name Kazuya. Can't wait for Volume 2!

Good book, Awful condition!
This one star is not about the book itself but about the condition I received it, ripped and with creases! I'm really disappointed on amazon!

Excellent demon/action manga
From back of book:What should have been a simple day out with friends turns into a mysterious disaster when powerful demonic beasts appear. Kazuya and Atsuro were supposed to meet Naoya, their enigmatic friend, but he doesn't show up and instead sends another friend, Yuzu, to meet them and give them specially modded gaming devices. It becomes apparent that Naoya has given them much more than they bargained for when demons spawn from these devices! These demons seem to be intent on killing humans, but could they actually be allies?! Kazuya and his friends must figure out what the devil is going on as the world around them inexplicably begins to fall apart!Review of Volume 1:The action picks up quickly with the three friends soon finding themselves in danger. World building is done primarily through Kazuya, Atsuro, and Yuzu discovering the situation for themselves.Although the book/series isn't perfect, I found it a great read and feel that anyone interested in this type of manga will enjoy it.Review of Devil Survivor series:Few books/series are perfect, but this Devil Survivor is very, very good. The art work is well done, consistent, and realistic even though the demons are fantasy creations. The story is based on a game, but the author provides enough information to make the main characters seem like 'real people' with realistic reactions to their situation and the events surrounding them. The ending was satisfying and reasonable.

Super Umsetzung

Devil Survivor was my favourite DS game
Devil Survivor was my favourite DS game, and Over Clocked was the only reason I bought a 3DS. I learned a manga adaptation for Devil Survivor was translated and instantly ordered it.Volume 1 covers the Day Before and a bit on 1st Day. It is a very well made manga that allows readers who never played the game to understand the story nonetheless. The nice drawings were a big bonus for me since the original Devil Survivor had very unique characters and the manga was able to bring them to life. Any Devil Survivor fans should find the manga interesting, and I think non-gamer readers will also find the Tokyo Lockdown Survival story interesting.

Amazing + faithful to the DevilSurvivor game!
I was skeptic as to how Atlus would make this manga about their game.Turns out it's great. Filled with emotions (as in the first game), the despair the 3 main characters face is well made to be felt and the story is as dramatic as it originally was meant to be. The art style looks great too! Wow. The second tome isn't out yet and I already plan on purchasing it.For 12$ it's a fair deal worth every penny!Would recommend it with ease! 5/5!

Pretty cool
As an SMT fan, not a manga collector, I’ve rather enjoyed this adaptation.
