wasnt sure why my headset mic was not working, happened to be this piece. original did not have any visible damage, might have been internal from bending mic around during use

My brother was complaining that his headset microphone was starting to go out, so I offered to buy him a replacement if he found an Amazon listing. We double checked that this microphone was the correct microphone for his headset and placed an order.We were VERY disappointed to find that even though the microphone fits into the headset and is seemingly identical to the original microphone from his headset, it does NOT work.

-sound quality decent but picks up a lot of background noise-fit my headphones-came with a plosive muffler- little overprice for the valueoverall 6.8\10

He replaced his headset mic because our daughter slobbered all over his! He says it works the same exact way as his official mic did.

It was okay.. kind of like something you’d buy at five below. It connected to the headphones but the volume quality was kind of rough. The cord length was pretty good for what it is, not much of a weight to it so the build quality is just okay. I’d say it’s alright for a short term use until you get a better one.

I bought this microphone (Replacement Game Mic for Kingston HyperX Cloud Alpha) on Amazon because the microphone that came with my HyperX headphones was broken, and this is a great replacement. 5/5 Stars!The audio quality is great, definitely even a little better then the ones that came with my gaming headset. I must say, I really love this.
