Very sturdy! Worth the extra money
I was looking for a solid line nipper that cuts heavier mono and braid as well without breaking and these are definitely much sturdier than the competition. Only downfall is the tether is clipped to the locking mechanism and will lock while trying to clip occasionally. Overall they are worth the extra $10 as they are much better built than the other line clippers, because they are solid metal and not plastic and metal.

The best nippers
These are the best nippers you can buy for fishing. TIP always keep them tethered! I lost one pair in the water and another pair to a very handsy friend.

Great tool with 1 major issue
This snipper is well made and makes clean cuts on 50 lb braid with ease.The only issue is the design. There's a part on the inside that when turned, prevents the blades from closed completely. This is a major issue since if you have the tool tethered to something and pull on it to use it, this piece will move and prevent snipping.I ended up removing the piece and drilling separate hole to attach it to the tether.

Quality Tool!
The media could not be loaded. This product is high priced for what it can do but the quality of this line cutter is the best i've seen so far. Cuts through braid super clean and will chew through heavy leaders no problem. If you fish alot of saltwater these look like they will holdup fine. Glad i bought these major upgrade from traditional nippers.
