This is wonderful for our front yard! We have uneven ground and this creates a spot where you can practice. It's easy to set up and is a great training tool.

Grass should be a little thicker.

This keeps me from digging up the back yard when I practice chipping for the dogs.

Balls sits up well and doesn't leave green on your clubs.

I should have probably gotten a bigger size but the thickness of the pad was also a little let down. I got it to not have marks in the backyard grass but it is very high up/thick that it does get in the way a bit.

Based on my past experiences with other mats I examined the available images to pick a mat that appeared to be constructed in a way to be durable. When the mat arrived I was happy to see that the pictures appropriately represented the mat I received and that it was constructed in a way to avoid flaws I've experienced with other mats. I was particularly concerned that the coping around the grass area was designed in a way to protect the grass from mis-hits and hold secure. I've been using the mat for a little over a week and early indications are that the durability will hold up. The hole for the rubber tee holder (or rubber tee) provides a secure grip, which makes it easy to pick up and move around without any concerns about it falling out. I primarily use my driver and a tee with the mat but I have hit some shots of the grass with my 3 wood, hybrids and irons. I've found it to be a good surface to hit off of and it provided an appropriate amount of give while remaining firm. I considered buying the larger mat but I'm happy I opted for the 13 x 17 inch size as it provides an appropriately sized hitting area and it is easy to move around should you want that option. I would rate the value of this as exceptional based on the reasonable price and the sound construction of the mat.

Seems like a great quality mat. The material is amazing, the design is great. Hitting on a mat was new for me so the thickness of the actual mat was an adjustment and I mis hit, and hit the side of the mat one time and it came up out of the framing. Then I accidentally did it again later on and after two mis hits, had almost completely ruined the mat. Sucks since this mat seems like an amazing mat, maybe I just got a dud.

I love this product. I use it for my golf net. There is one that I have that came with my golf net it wasn’t that good and it didn't last long. So I ordered this mat it was so good. It doesn’t look like it can break because how thick it is. I would recommend mats from champkey.Edit: After 100 shots it does get loose and doesn’t stick that well and it comes off.
