Seems better than Comet.
This pump moves water from Scepter 20L jerry cans for a camp shower, washing dishes, etc. I power it with a small LiFePO4 battery that attaches to the exterior of the jerry can, making the entire assembly hand-portable.The Whale pump provides much improved pressure over the Comet pump it replaced. The Comet lasted about two years and lost pressure over time. The Whale provides stronger pressure than the Comet did new.No complaints about noise or price.

Unit cracked, didn't notice soon enough to send back.
Works well, but a part was cracked. Added a star due to me not noticing crack.

She fried!
Worked well the first 4 or 5 times I used it in my diy bait tank. Then it just quit. It was being used over the side of my boat to bring in water to my bait tank. I would fill up my tank then shut it off and cycle it for 15 min every hr to keep cool water in the tank. I'm really disappointed that it has burned up. I figured I'd atleast get a year out of it no more than I ran it.

failed in less than a year, and I rarely (actually never) used it
I have this connected to a hose with a hand-held shower head. It is submerged in a 7 gallon water jug in the van. I wanted to use it for cold showers beside the van but it failed during a test before my first road/camping trip. I still draws current but no sound nor water output.

UPDATE: DIED YESTERDAY after only been used 4 times!!!
The media could not be loaded. UPDATEPump failed Yesterday after only been used 4 times!!!Not durableVery disappointing for a "BRAND" name.Hopefully customer service will make it right but I am not holding my breath and will not waste hours on that.Whale is off my list for now!Might as well get a Chinese copy for less money if quality is the same...Nice little pump. Used it to empty my john boat without effort as you can see in the video. Noise is from the pump rattling against the aluminum hull. Pump by itself is on the quiet side. Not very powerful but that's to be expected for the small size.Has a sleeve on the outlet to accommodate two tubes diameters. Realized it when the outer sleeve fell out. Convenient for different tubes.Small is around 1/2Big is approximately 5/8I used the small oneWires are short. Knocked a star off for this reason.Whale is a brand name and should keep up with off brands that are offering longer wires and a switch for less money.Hopefully it lasts for a long time
