Mirka9A-570-080 Abranet 2-3/4" x 10yd Mesh Grip Roll

We have been using Abranet mesh sanding rolls for our woodturning projects. We are very pleased with the durability and quality. As sawdust builds up it is easy to blow it out with the air compressor.

I have used this brand before with good results. I'm amazed at how long it lasts.

I bought this to try on my 16-32 drum sander for final thicknessing of ukulele and guitar body parts. 1st passes with very dry wood were quite impressive. Working with oilier woods proved to be not so great. It didn't take long for the roll to get gummed up in little pearls that left some scratches that were difficult to remove. I think the heat and speed of the drum sander contributed to the difficulties. Otherwise, I love the Abranet product and use it often with many other applications.
