I am a healthy individual in my 40s. I've been taking blood tests (for cholesterol, trig., glucose, etc) every year for the past 15years. In March 2020 my total cholesterol value came back high at 222 and my LDL was 164. These values were the highest I've ever had.Confident that I can reduce it easily on my own I skipped the doctor's advice for Atorvastatin and I started exercising more and cut back on meats and cheese. In early August 2020 my total cholesterol value came back high at 218 and my LDL was 146. While there was an improvement in the LDL, the reduction in total cholesterol was disappointing.In August 2020 I started taking CholestAid to supplement my nutrition and exercise program.In mid-January 2021 I took another blood test to see if there's any point in continuing taking CholestAid. This time the total cholesterol was 201 and the LDL was 133. It is worth pointing out that (due to the cold weather and holidays) my exercise and my nutrition programs during the "Aug 2020 - Jan 2021" period weren't as strict and involved as the ones for the period "March 2020 - Aug 2020", and yet the reduction in the total cholesterol was more dramatic and LDL continued to decrease.One more important thing: My liver functions AST and ALT both had a value of 15 in January 2021... You don't get that with statins!I think CholestAid works, but people need to remember that they still need to do their part (nutrition and exercise). However I think the price of this supplement is exaggerated... this is the reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

My doctor was seriously recommending statins. I don't want to take statins. I decided to try CholestAid as the ingredients seem much safer to me. I am having good results. The doctor reviewed the ingredients of CholestAid, looked at my blood work and told me to keep doing what I'm doing. Yes, it might have been cheaper to get the statins...but I can still purchase CholestAid with my Health Savings Account funds and I feel a lot better taking this supplement than another prescription drug.

After taking product for a number of months cholesterol is down some hoping if I continue it will drop some more

I’ve been using this supplement for the last few months and this is the best one I’ve used in the last two years
