My dental hygienist recommended this floss, which I've been using a couple of years. Previously I was using Oral-B Glide because most of my teeth are very close together and unwaxed floss can get stuck and break off between them. However, my hygienist said that the Glide and other waxed floss doesn't do as good of a job of "grabbing" food particles off teeth's surface.The Smart Floss has yet to break between my teeth. I like that it's stretchy and expands when it gets wet. The plastic-free packaging and replacement spools are great for those concerned with the environment and trying to reduce waste. My only complaint is that that the packaging isn't the strongest so it should be used gently. Recently the metal hook used to "cut" the floss fell out of the cardboard box and I had to clip the floss with scissors. Not a dealbreaker though.I will continue to only buy DrTung's Smart Floss.

This dental floss was recommended by my dentist's office, and I've received small samples from them as well as purchasing it from Amazon. It's a nice thick floss and recommended for me because of the wide spacing between my teeth. The floss string is flat and wide in shape, though, so thinner in one direction than in the other. The cardamom flavor is so refreshing, and I'd describe it as a little like cinnamon. The container is made of a thick, durable paper rather than plastic, but the mechanism of dispensing is similar to that of plastic containers, with a bit of metal to cut and hold the floss. It's easy to dispense the floss. This floss is a family favorite, and I have it in my Amazon Subscribe & Save.

OralB discontinued their Super Floss (in a regular custom-sized length container) and their pre-cut ones are a different material with stiff waxed ends. If you have extremely tight teeth and use the technique of making a knot a few inches from the end of the piece & pulling through the areas between your teeth, this floss is the next best option. Probably even better than OralB’s version.It’s made similar to an embroidery thread, with a lot of teeny strings. They really pick up the tiniest of black pepper flakes! It doesn’t shred that easily - unless if you’re like me and continually pass the same area through your teeth (included a photo of the floss in a new and a shredded state).If you have a (glued) retainer, braces, or a jagged cap, this floss does catch easily and you might have fibers stuck to those areas that you’ll need to dry and tweeze. Sometimes I’m not sure if some of the teeny white balls are actually a string that got cut off and rolled up, instead of plaque. Either way, this floss picks anything up easily.I don’t mind the light licorice flavor and smell, but if you’re sensitive to natural herbal smells, this might not work for you. However, this purchase is still well worth it for the thorough cleaning it provides.

My dentist recommended a ribbon type floss called Cocofloss, but boy was it expensive. I found this floss in my local co-op and it worked very well. Glad I found it on Amazon! I get a multipack and order via Subscribe and Save. It cleans SOOOO much better than Oral B or Crest or any of the drug store brands.

My dentist recommended this floss and I use it; however, it can shred and get stuck if you have very tight-together teeth.

This dental floss was a game changer. If you have wide spaces in between your teeth...this really helps! It expands in between the teeth and you can pull out the plaque! It made a huge difference to my gums! Highly recommended.

This is the only floss I will use. I love the flavor and the way it slightly expands to better clean my teeth.

Love this! It feels just like cotton, no thick wax, and it cleans my teeth really well. And it tastes fantastic, like a combination of orange and clove. Love love love this. And it’s FREE of all kinds of nasty chemicals.
