Exactly what I wanted! This switch is very hefty. Made out of solid metal- it’s going to last a long time. I’ve already put it through many many hours of constant use (as a foot pedal for my scrollsaw) and it shows no sign of wear.Update: After a little less than a year, the 'ground' pin on the plug broke off. I'm not sure exactly how it happened (my brother was using it at the time), but it was disappointing that it broke. I managed to hammer the pin back into place and glue it. Regardless, this foot switch gets -1 for durability because the plug broke after just 10 months.

Meets my needs. I am a little suspect on the durability of the plug but only time will tell

I researched a bunch of these for using in my shop with a Shop vac. Most of the ones I found were a deadman or I had to rewire. This is perfect, One step to turn on, one step to turn off. It's sturdy and goes right inline. A Longer cord would always be nice, but there is no false advertisement so you get what this model is (still more than most at over 7'). Great Buy!

I have used this to power my bench mounted portaband band saw. Works perfect every time. Super sturdy construction. The cord is thick and durable. Kinda hard to believe you can get this good of a product these days.

Used this to pedal-power my airbrush compressor and it works like a charm. Great construction.

Using this on my scroll saw. I didn’t want a deadman switch that would force me to keep foot pressure on during long cuts. I preferred to just tap switch on - run saw as long as I want and then tap when done. Works great
