These are great for hanging outdoor cameras on a rail or downspout

These are great for sticking cameras in odd areas! Very sturdy and they stay perfect.Used this to stick a camera down by a stream to watch the critters - wrapped the tentacles around a branch a month ago and throughout wind, rain and various birds/animals/bugs the camera hadn’t moved at all.

I love this flexible tripod because I could put my Blink camera on the railing of my porch without any problems! The range of motion is wonderful to wrap around the thin bars of my porch fencing. I did give this product four stars in the range of motion because the casing on the tentacles cracked after bending them multiple times while placing and replacing the camera. Otherwise, this item is exactly what I needed!

Not to stable after install

After a incident in our neighbor hood, it was suggested by my Army grandson that I get one. I feel very safe in my community. We have wonderful neighbors that watch out for each other. Our dedicated police department cruise around the streets every night. I had no desire to have one.Then we found out that they caught the individual because the next street over had an outside camera. They captured the individual cutting through their property to get to our neighborhood. Due to the detective and police work of investigating, they found a homeowner who had an outside camera. BINGO, the individual was caught on camera.This prompted me to let my grandson install the outside cameras. He checked with his friend, who is a police officer in our town, and he suggested BLINK. "If" anything out of the ordinary happens, the police can look at my cameras. I live on a corner lot and the cameras are placed so to take in both streets of my lot. I highly recommend these cameras. This is a wonderful idea for placing the Blink cameras. It has so much flexibility for mounting the cameras anywhere. It just wont fit around a large corner post.

The connection to the back of the Blink camera is not a good fit. It pushes into the back of the camera like the regular mount but it is not tight enough to hold onto the camera. The camera keeps falling off. The three prongs that wrap around the fence are strong and sturdy. Good idea, just poor execution.

They are lightweight and and be placed in many positions. They can be a little difficult to snap into the back of the camera but the tight fit makes it secure.
