Perfect little home butter maker
This thing is GREAT! The geared crank really gets the works up to speed for fast, efficient churning. My butter took about 8 minutes, and it tastes awesome. I was particularly impressed by the quality: the gears are cast, not just stamped sheet metal, and all the parts seem to be well-made. The glass is nice and sturdy. I can't wait to try the next batch of fresh butter (perhaps with garlic and fresh chives added) on a batch of pasta. It'll have to be the next batch because the first is already gone! It makes about a half-cup of butter at a time, which is just perfect for two people.

Fun, quick and easy
My granddaughters had a blast making butter! The directions were easy…good idea to let the cream get to room temperature. Fun for everyone.

Great Find! Highly Recommend👍
Ok! This little butter churn really does work. I was kinda blown away. And it’s aesthetically pleasing! Recently I’ve been making homemade bread and thought I’d add homemade butter to my repertoire. Friends & Family loved the flavor of the butter. FYI, at least for me, it takes longer than the 10-15 minutes claimed. Plan on 25-30 minutes. You’ll be pleased. Be sure to chill the butter in ice water and to squeeze it to get the extra water out of it. I place mine in cheesecloth, then place cheese containing the butter inside a mug, and refrigerate it for an hour to help firm it up. Results=PERFECTION!

Received broken items both times. I give up.
Ordered for the first time on May 24, 2025. After a week and a half, it came in a box fully covered in 4 layers of cardboard, and yet it was broken-- a hole on the side the size of a golf ball. I requested a replacement. Finally got the second replacement June 15, 2025 (another 2 weeks waiting), opened it up immediately, through the same secure 4 layers of cardboard and bubble wrap, there was another hole a little bit smaller than a golf ball. The product seems sturdy, the jar is a great size, the top part is big enough for your hands to fit in and clean inside with ease. It's a decent size that could fit inside your cupboards for easy storage so I feel it makes it a functional and practical piece for your kitchen without taking up too much space. Unfortunately, I couldn't try making butter in either for obvious golf ball size reasons. I was severely disappointed, I had hoped that the first broken piece was just a mistake but two times? I think they're sending out broken pieces on purpose at this point.I made a previous review which wasnt approved because it didn't describe the item (but I did). So here is my second review for both experiences. Pictures of both times are included.

Fun!
Was pleasantly surprised to find the jar bigger than I thought it would be.Washed and dried right away.Used my heavy cream at room temperature. About 12 ounces. Which took around a half an hour to solidify.About 12 ounces makes about a half of cup of butter.Very easy to churn until the butter starts to form. Then easy again.Used it on grilled cheese sandwiches. The best.Remember to save the buttermilk to use in recipes! This is a great buy. Works well. Fun to watch as you churn the heavy cream. Great value! I am happy I bought this.
