Cushees Thick Ankle Socks, 3 pairs/pack

Holy smokers. These have the thickest dang cushions I've ever seen! THEY fit well, but my SHOES just got a lot more snug! I'm happy, though, I got two pair of walking shoes recently (sneakers, really) that were a full size too large, or more, and these Cushee socks now make them wearable. Previously, I added a set of insoles but was swimming in the clown shoes and clop, clop, clopping down the sidewalk. Now they fit comfortably snug and behave more normally. Don't know yet how the socks will do durability-wise or laundry-wise, but they sure solved a shoe-fitting problem for me. Sometimes a pair of shoes catches your eye and an unbelievable price but is available only in a size too big or so ... and these socks certainly close that gap.

Ordered for my husband who has type 2 diabetes and is very well controlled on an Insulin Pump. Nevertheless, I am well acquainted with the foot damage experienced by many diabetics. These stocks provide plenty of extra cushioning on trouble areas such as the heels and balls of the feet. My husband notoriously sweats thru his socks ... a problem which can cause skin breakdown. The fabric used for these socks wicks away sweat and leaves his feet dry all day ... even in our 95 degree heat. Finally, the ankle portion of the sock doesn't have any areas that bind too tightly. In the past, my husband would take off his socks and he would have grooves on his ankles where the socks had been. Overall, fantastic product and I'll be offering 4 or 5 more packs of these great socks.

When he could not find any more pairs of this sock... as I get my husband all kinds of socks.... he was in distress.... He told me that he so loved them and is there any way I could get more... My heart melted... I researched my purchases on Amazon and found where I had purchased them... Not only is this an American Company, I believe... but these are the best and most comfortable socks on the market as they are truly cushee and thick and get softer and fluffier with age. Thank you Amazon for the easy way to research my purchase and Thank you Cushee... for an awesome product.

My favorite socks of the last 3 years. They add a little extra cushion that I need in contrast to the thorlo brand which never seemed to add anything to the cushioning for me. That said these socks are a little more pricey (at the most recent purchase) than I would like but are still cheaper than Thorlos that can run you $13-17/pair. The cushees will also stretch out and flatten out over time losing that extra cushion. The stretching out is to be expected though and I end up using old socks for cleaning.

I bought these socks primarily for the thick cushion sole. They feel quite thick before you put them on but once on a lot of the cushion feeling is gone as the material spreads with the width of your foot. By the end of the day they are no thicker than any other sock. They fit perfect and I wash on gentle cycle and hang dry. It would be wonderful if the cushion sole would stay thick once on and not spread.

I bought the 3 pack of these for $18+. They lasted a couple months. I ordered another pack of 3 at the beginning of February. I am down to the last pair. They start off super comfortable but the heels developed holes after a few weeks. I have cheaper socks in my drawer that have been there for many months that do not have holes in them. The worst part is, i emailed the company to let them know and see if they could do anything. The very wordy response I received was “ Thanks for letting us know”. That’s it. I paid almost $40 for 6 pairs of socks that barely lasted 3 months and that’s all you can say...? No apologies. No offers to refund money or maybe try a different style. Nothing... What a horrible company and customer service. Way to stand behind your product. Way to try and do something, ANYTHING to satisfy a customer. Needless to say, I will look elsewhere for this type of sock.
