Bubble Magus QQ1 Hang-On Nano Protein Skimmer by Bubble Magus

I am not sure what 'sheerness' means in relation to this skimmer but the review asked me to mark it so I gave it 5 stars because in all other regards it is very good. I was given a 30cm nano cube with built in skimmer/filter, which wS useless. My spare skimmerfrom my main tank wS far too big and powerful so I bought this. It is excellent on this size nano. Very easy to set up (remember to press the little button to prime it!!) Straight away it started collecting green water. It does run very wet compared to the big tank skimmers but I am happy it is cleaning the water and is doing a good job. My guess is it would work well on slightly bigger tanks than this, as well.

Absolute trash, water level required is unrealistically too close to the surface of ANY tank, the most minute water evaporation will drop the water level below what it needs to work, got very noisey and hasn't skimmed anything in almost 2 weeks. Extremely disappointed. AVOID!

Would highly recommend. Very silent and great product so far. Will update in a few months.
