Amazing collection of covers! Great seller

I was not an Archie comic reader in my formative years because I identified it with girls. However I always was captivated by the cover art. Beautiful illustrations with precise lines and vivid colors. The large format of the book really bring out the fine details of the artist. Great buy and collector item.

The whole book was visually pleasing, A treat for the eyes with entertaining information thrown in or good measure! Would be a nice book to add to your collection Archie fan or not!

This book is a must for Archie fans. Beautiful artwork, wonderful stories. I loved that it showcased each artist's work.

The co-authors. Victor Gorelick and Craig Yoe have created a wonderful tribute to their artists and the history of Archie Comics from 1942 to the present. Each cover is meticulously re-produced in multi-colors and other excerpts in black and white which reveal the essences of innocent humor that made Archie such a favorite comic among American youth in the forties to the present. Enough of Marvel Comic Heroes! Archie Comics have enough humor and love in them to satisfy the most adventurous fan of the super-heros. A book advertised as new should be in near-perfect condition, and this one wasn't. Has a slight bend in it, some smudging on the back cover and minor dings. I'm not going to bother with returning it because I'm not as particular as I used to be. Disappointing though.
