Moved into a new home at the end of last year and the tiny lawn at the back was mostly moss. I tried raking it up but that was a nightmare. I used a scarifier which raked a huge amount of moss out of the lawn, but it didn't get it all out and a week later I could see that the remaining moss was still flourishing. I looked at a lot of moss-killing concoctions, but they all came with warnings that if you spilled them you had to clear up those spills or you'd get black staining. And they all said you needed to rake out the dead moss, which I knew from my earlier attempts to rake the moss out would be backbreaking work.When I found this no-rake moss killer I was sceptical but decided it was worth a try and oh! I am I so glad I bought it. I cut the lawn so it was really short; applied this by scattering it with gloved hands. I was a bit worried I wouldn't apply it at the correct rate as it was so difficult to tell, but I shouldn't have worried. I just threw it about as evenly as I could, followed the instructions for making sure it got watered in (I didn't actually need to do that as I managed to sprinkle it about just before a heavy rain shower), and bingo! That was it!Within a week or two all the moss--and I mean ALL of it--was gone. The remaining grass was very patchy. I'd guess I had less than 25% coverage once I'd got rid of the moss. But it was gone, and it was relatively easy to bring the grass back to life: I bought a tool which removes cores of soil, and went over the lawn with that a few times; then I sprinkled on grass seed (I got the kind that's treated to retain moisture, making it more reliable); then I covered that seed with a thin layer of compost (I used a few sacks of old potting compost I had lying around, which did the job fine). I watered it twice a day for ten minutes at a time, for about two weeks. That was the biggest nuisance, but it wasn't actually that difficult to do. And that was it. I now have a lovely green lawn, which is entirely moss-free and which looks and feels fabulous. This product was just brilliant!

Bought this as this year moss had taken over the garden and after having a some surgery I couldn’t see myself raking the moss. So bought this, it’s works on small areas but not all. It depends on the extent of the moss! Take about 4 weeks to see any results. But think it will still need scarifying or raking out at some point. But will enjoy the summer first.

It worked, took awhile and had some brown patches but now grass has regrown.

Bought 3 tubs of this and treated my small lawn twice. It made the grass grow lush and green during the summer so the initial perception was OK but looking at it later it did not kill the moss. It didn't work. I followed the instructions to the letter. Complete waste of time and money as I wanted to get rid of moss.

Works well if you follow the instructions. Killed the moss and no raking.
