I have two 100 W LED light bulbs in the kitchen and all my mom has to say to Alexa is kitchen lights on, before she gets out of her chair and goes into the kitchen where it's dark. She cannot see very and at night she needs lots of light to see to Trek around safely in the home. Thank you for these wonderful Innovations to make my home more safer for my mother.

Once you get these things going, they are very nice. I've linked mine with Google Home.Very important, you need a 2.4Ghz router. These will not work with 5Ghz (the current popular standard). I set up an old Apple Airport to get these things online and they have been working very well.The default app for these leaves something to be desired, however they link up nicely with Google Home and can be controlled there.I will be getting a couple more for around the house.

While some devices take just minutes to setup, not so for this device. After 3 hours and several people, some having worked for Microsoft Consulting and IBM, no success. The ambiguous and cryptic instructions printed on paper not much bigger that a postage stamp, left us guessing what it was actually doing. The App could not list the Wi-Fi networks...had to enter that manually, and there was no caution that SSIDs are case sensitive which will trip up many people. This is a product that needs some good old fashioned clearly written documentation and software that helps users, rather that users that help the software.

I purchased a super bright LED light for the attic and the switch was located on the light socket it’s self. With this I can turn the light on and off easily before going up into the attic and whenI come down if if I forgot to turn it off i can easily do it without needing to go back up. This was an easy setup and works 100% of the time.

I usually tend to go for smart devices that are either Zigbee or Z-Wave to use with my SmartThings hub. This tends to ensure the devices run quicker and work more reliably. These, in contrast, are WiFi and not directly compatible with SmartThings (unless you use something like iFTTT, which I have not yet tested).I bought these because I was unable to find a Zigbee or Z-Wave alternative... and... these were very affordable. They do work and that's where the good news ends (at least for me)... Their range is poor. I used two of these for outdoor porch lights at Christmas time to auto turn on and off my color kaleidoscope bulbs. My router is only about 15 feet from the one attached to the socket at my front door, so it only has to go through one wall, not far from the source... but it very often fails to initialize. Took forever to get it set up. Had to use a lamp, placed right next to the router to get it setup and then plug in outside. It works sometimes, but not reliably at all. Very disappointing.I have other smart WiFi devices that, once setup, will keep their timer settings even if the WiFi disconnects... THESE ARE NOT THOSE! I set up timers for these devices and, unless the router had a clear connection, the timed settings would NOT run. Very disappointing. SO... make sure you have strong signal in your testing otherwise don't expect scheduling to work effectively. Also make sure your router can handle multiple devices if you have many, otherwise you will likely experience challenges with connection.I wanted to recommend these. They serve their niche purpose and they do work, BUT, I ran into issues that make them virtually useless in my scenario. Setup was not as easy or quick as I would have expected, but it did eventually work. I love that they are such a great value and, in the right environment, they would be a cool device to employ.Sadly, only recommended if you can't find anything better. If there was a similar device that used Zigbee or Z-wave and was even more expensive, I would opt for that next time instead. Maybe there is and I just didn't look hard enough, or maybe something new has come out since my purchased. My recommendation would be to go for that instead!

First socket lasted 2 years. Seller refunded price of failed socket and I ordered again. Great company and product. Be patient with the setup. You have to set up the socket in the tuya app and then give permission to tuya to access alexa. Paired to alexa after a few tries. It can be frustrating but if you keep trying it will sync up with alexa. I had the same issue with some smart plugs from another seller on amazon. So I think this is a common problem with these smart plugs/lights.

Once you've turned your light off using the app, you cannot turn your light back on manually using the switch. So, it's a constant juggle of find your phone to turn the light back on when you are just walking into the room for a second. It's fine if you are in bed and want to turn the light off, but if you forget to turn it back on the next morning and need to turn it on manually because your phone is in another room, you cannot do that. So... more of a pain than it's worth in my opinion... I missed the return window as well, so I'm stuck with them. :(

Compré este artículo para agregarlo a Google Home y funcionó bien. Aparte tiene su aplicación donde uso un temporizador para que se apague a cierta hr. Ya he realizado dos compras. Lo recomiendo

Es fácil de instalar y utilizar con la app smart life

Fáciles de instalar y de coordinar con Alexa, funcionan muy bien, solo tener en cuenta que requieren una red WiFi de 2.4, no acepta si es de 5 o bi-banda

Llegó a tiempo, lo instalé fácil y rápido y ahora lo prendo y apago desde donde quiera, además de que lo puedo programar.
