Used my mixer for the first time, and it delivered
I just made my popular khachapuri modification using my mixer, and I have to say it delivered well. I am a one man show in our kitchen as my wife doesn't cook, so when I make khachapuri it can get overwhelming. There are times during the recipe where things have to be done at one time, and there are parts of the recipe that used to wear my arm out (like folding cold butter into the flour). With the mixer, I just set about its way as I complete other tasks. The best part is the easy and convenient cleanup. I had my khachapuri done and all utensils cleaned from start to finish in 2 hours (including 1 hour of refigeration on the dough and 50 minutes cooking). No way I could do that when I was using my elbow grease for everything. Adding the shredder attachment worked very well for the cheeses. I can definitely see that I will be using my mixer on a regular basis going forward, and I already plan to experiment with new recipes.

Serious workhorse for all your mixing needs
This mixer is a serious workhorse. Bread dough, no problem. Sausage balls, no problem. I have been quite impressed with the power this thing has and don't think I could have found a better mixer. The price was right too. If I had any con it would be that it is a little aggravating to pour ingredients in the bowl when it's locked in place because of the lack of room between the bowl and mixer head. Oh well, still rather have this one over a tilt model.

Best Mixer
I bought this KitchenAid Mixer for my daughter as a Christmas gift because I have had one for years and I love it. This model has a super strong motor and mixes batters and doughs so well that I find no drawbacks to using it. I've even been able to mix very stiff biscotti dough without the mixer pausing or hesitating. I like the slow start feature which prevents flour and other powders from spattering out of the bowl. It has a lift/lower mechanism for the bowl which doesn't alter the height of the mixer, making it easier to use if under the counter. If you do have room on your counter this mixer is convenient, otherwise it would be quite heavy to lift each time you needed to use it. The mixer, bowls and accessories are sturdy and high quality, probably because they're still made here in the USA. You will not be disappointed with this KitchenAid.

I love my Kitchen Aid!
First of all, this was a great price. I got the professional for as much as I was about to buy the artisan.Second of all, I use this all of the time for everything. It is greatI only have two complaints. The first is about having to lower the bowel and then drop the attachment before removing the bowel. This can be a bit annoying but after reading reviews it was to be expected. The second is about the included mixing attachment, things end up getting stuck to the sides and to have to stop the machine and scrape the sides and continue but I see there is another attachment you can buy that is supposed to fix that and I will be getting it soon. All in all, this is my favorite appliance.

Great Mixer
I replaced my three year old and still working KitchenAid Classic mixer with this one a few weeks ago. I use it mainly for bread/pizza dough and love the new spiral dough hook it came with, it's a huge improvement over the C shaped hook (the hook is the white coated kind). I use high gluten bread flour and have never put in more than 6 cups, I sometimes do half bread flour and half whole wheat. The mixer doesn't have any problem with this amount or type of flour and kneads it to a much nicer consistancy than my Classic mixer. I also like the shape of the bowl compaired to the one that was for my Classic mixer. The bowl has a flat bottom and sits nicely on the table or counter, fits securely on the mixer even when kneading dough, and I think is easier to clean. The slow start feature is nice, I don't have to clean flour up from around my mixer after adding a little extra to dough. The mixer is a little louder than I'd like but as another reviewer said it isn't really any louder than my microwave.

No shame in renewed Kitchenaid!
Gifted to a friend who had a pitiful excuse of a stand mixer that brought shame to her kitchen. Since she received it, she has been a nonstop whirlwind of mixing mayhem! She loves it! A perfect gift for any person wants to spend more than 2 minutes microwaving Ramen in the kitchen.

Best workhorse of the kitchen
KitchenAid KV25GOXGR Professional 5 Plus 5-Quart Stand Mixer, Imperial Grey Bought this mixer back in 2006 because I had heard and, subsequent research showed, that it was a very sturdy mixer. I use it for everything and am contemplating buying the grinder attachment. I bake a lot of bread in the fall, winter & spring, so this mixer has gotten a workout and I can't imagine doing all that kneading anymore (I do finish kneading by hand, but this has taken all the initial mixing and kneading off my hands (pun intended). The mixer is large and will take up room on your counter. I tried storing it in the pantry but it is very heavy to lift.I would recommend this mixer to everyone.

Happy cook
I used this product in a cooking class and fell in love. I bought mine and have made angel food cakes on a regular basis since then. We made pasta in the class so I have bought the attachments and will be making more soon. Saw an identical machine at Macy’s for $300 more than what I paid. Very happy with my purchase.
