If you only use one per acoustic panel, they peel off within the day, even though they're extremely light. Use 2 and you'll be getting better results.

I guess It’s cool if you are going to add more tape but definitely recommend the adhesive spray. Can’t complain for the price lol i was playing music off my speakers the 808s kept knocking the foam down… then i left out the room for a hr to come back to most the foam down…. So yea recommend using this with the spray

Thus product was recommended to hang foam panels. I assumed 3M, so quality right? Couldn't be farther from the truth. Hung the wall panels and tested them by trying to move them around and adhesion seemed fine. Came back two hours later to a pile of foam tiles on the floor. Assumed I didn't push hard enough onto the foam, rehung and pushed and held for 30 seconds on each tile. Came back 2 hours later to find about a third of the tiles had fallen off. Rinse and repeat. Came back a few hours later to another pile of panels on the floor. Gave up on this garbage product and decided to remove from the wall. Product ripped on almost every pad and either tore all 4 layers of paint off or left an adhesive residue. I went into this knowing my wall would be ruined afterward but that was a consolation I could deal with if the product had bothered to stick to the tiles I was trying to hang. What the hell is this product for if it can't even support the weight of a less than a pound foam tile?!?!?!

Buying these in bulk is 200 IQ.Pro tip if your using these on foam, just add normal glue.Will have lots of extra for more projects later.

Follow up. From 3 to 1 star.We are at the end of the life cycle for our use of this product. It killed the wall.Even with four to five squares on each foam block, the product never stuck to the foam. I had to secure the foam with tacks. Now that we are converting the studio for another use, we removed the sound proofing. As we pulled the tacks, the foam blocks just fell onto the floor. The glue never adhered even after being nailed to the pads.The wall is another story. The only way to remove the adhesive from the wall seems to be to tear down the wall and replace it. Goo Gone, comet, steel wool, sanding. Hilariously, sanding all the way to the dry all the only thing left are the squares of glue.If you are attempting to use this for the advertised purposes of securing foam to the wall, find another solution. This does not work. If you buy the product for any other use, apply it knowing that you are sacrificing your wall.First review.Although the 3M double sided foam mounting tape is the recommended mounting solution for BUBOS Decorative Acoustic Panels, they did not adhere to most of the the panels. An entire wall of panels plopped to the floor in one night, leaving my wall dotted with the tape. For the second attempt, I used the 3M foam mounting tape to temporarily mount the panels, then secured the panels in the corners with decorative furniture tacks.For the sound proofing application, I appreciate how thick the mounting tape provides a 1/8 inch space between the panel and the wall, providing an additional level of sound protection. Also, the tape adheres strongly to the wall and other surfaces, but easily comes off without damaging the paint.For other applications, the 3M foam mounting tape will earn five stars, but since the foam mounting tape only provided a temporary mounting solution and required tacks for permanent support, I can only give it 3 stars for mounting BUBOS Decorative Acoustic Panels.

I was looking for an easy way to display a Funko Pop collection. I attached 6 squares to the back of each plastic sleeve. I placed them on a smooth wall then after a couple of days, I inserted the box and then put the Pop on top. It looked great! Less than a week later, several of the boxes have fallen off. Each box is less than 1/2 pound so it should have held.

I was trying to put sound deadening panels on the back of a door, and some of the adhesives were too dried out to use. Also, it took a really long time to arrive.

They give an illusion that they are sticking well. After 2-3 days it will damage everything when the product is detached. I bought it after seeing some good reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. It damaged my photo frame and very small power extension cord!
