Fun lasts a while!
Given as a bday gift to a 6 year old. The boys had a great time working together to crack it open. It’s a strong egg where chipping takes a while. The kids started to pour water on it (hot day outside) to help chip away.

The media could not be loaded. We had so much fun with this one. And you can use the egg as a chalk. My 3 year old loved this

THE BEST
This was such a great gift for my nephew(3yrs.) who loves dinosaurs!! He and a few friends spent about 2 hours chipping away at this to get all the dinosaurs out. It makes a big mess so you should probably know that going in. We started on a cookie sheet at the dining table and ended up on the back porch. Super fun and great value for the time and enjoyment they got out of it.

Excellent for a Junior Paleontologist
This was extremely messy but extremely awesome for my Junior Paleontologist. She was in love with idea and the process. The dinosaurs that were found were a little difficult to identify even with the info cards that came with the egg. Also, the tools were small and the egg is hard so it takes a little bit of muscle, patience, and muscle to use the chisel. Also, she found all the dinosaurs on the top2/3 rds of the egg and had a 3rd of the egg empty and left over.Regardless... it was fun for us and I didnt even mind cleaning up all the dust. We did it in the house..lol.. I DO NOT recommend if you have a carpet, doing it in that room..lol.. unless you want to vaccum FOREVER.. if anything, next time I'll put down a rotary or a sheet... something ..lol.. but there WILL be a next time.

Kids love dinosaurs, what else can you say.
Bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter....along with a little paleontologist tan jacket, She was a bit young to use the hammers but the 8 and 10 year old helped....with her permission....and they finally hammered and dug and used the brushes and got all the dinosaurs out....it took them about 24 hours to get them all. The egg had 1 more in it than was listed on the package. We had christmas on martin luther king weekend because we all had covid over Christmas......that egg was worth every penny....great entertainment......and the older kids knew the names of all of the dinosaurs. I'm laughing just thinking about it.
