After assembling it I was so wobbly that I doubt it could hold more than few books.Looking at the other positive reviews I bought this but it's junk. It is super wobbly. I had back and forth email exchange with the seller. They agreed to take it back but I had to pay the shipping and guess what I paid $41 for the shipping! First time in my life I paid shipping for the defective item. It shows how important a customer is for the company.I really feel that the seller should offer shipping for defective items.Very unhappy with customer service.Update: I received the refund of the product but not for the shipping. After almost 2 weeks, the email I received said, you don't need to send the product back since it was defective.What kind of customer service is that? Had chain of emails and never said you don't need to send it back. I spent $41 to send back that junk.

I ordered two of these. I have had them for two months now. The assembly is confusing as the directions are not clear. You need a tool kit to assemble it since it with no tools as well. It took me about two hours to assemble the first one. The second took one hour and 15 minutes to assemble.It is a tad wobbly, so I wouldn't put things on it that are heavy. It is good for lightweight items.

I adore how stylish the design of this cabinet is. The wooden doors and legs give the cabinet a vintage look. And the white color creates a brighter appearance.It was quite easy to assemble too. I managed to do it on my on in about 25 minutes. I put all my hardcover books, and so far the shelves are really sturdy and stable.I absolute LOVE the size of this cabinet. I have limited space in my living room so I was looking for a smaller-than-usual bookcase for months. This definitely solved my problem. If need a small space solution, this is the right choice for you.

NOT EASY TO PUT TOGETHER!!! I carefully followed all of the steps in the instructions (which are pictures ONLY, no actual word instructions) and didn’t catch that the two side pieces for the bottom half of the bookshelf were put on upside down until I was COMPLETELY DONE minus the front doors for the lower cabinets portion. We ended up removing the magnets from the lower shelf and refitting the middle shelf for the cabinet because that was easier than taking it all apart again... and it works and is sort of cute anyway.... if I were you I’d anticipate setting aside an entire afternoon to this project OR an entire weekend if you bought two like I did. The second one we plan to do the right way and hopefully they won’t look crazy next to each other... wish me luck 😂Also to note: USE THE ANCHORING KIT THEY GOVE YOU. They can be a bit wobbly and they are VERY heavy so if you have kids or pets or plan to put anything even remotely heavy anywhere but the bottom cabinet, you really should anchor it to the wall.Despite the headache I think I’m actually going to be very happy with these, though. So maybe they will be perfect for you, too, especially if your a pro at complicated assembly

Not easy to assemble. Not very sturdy. Won’t recommend.Okay, it looks nice. But wow it doesn’t match the effort that you need to assemble this (i saw this from the reviews before buying, should have believed it). They should indicate that use of a power drill is a must. At first, I was using basic tools but my hands were hurting from all the turning with resistance. And even with a power drill, i still needed considerable force and trying again. Why? Because some screws/little parts were unusable (they do include one spare item on several parts though) and some parts of the wood do not have enough space/holes to receive the screws (this one was so frustrating to problem solve, some of my screws just stick out even after trying again and again). Some of the wood also came with stain/damage and the “white” stickers that were meant to cover up the screws aren’t the same color as the wood. If it were free and easy to return, i would have returned — was on my mind in the middle of assembling this.

The 2 Homfa bookcases were a different shade of white and we had planned to put them next to each other in our small studio. However, the company was very kind and due to the problem gave us some money back...they responded quickly and were easy to work with.

Dislike? Well really the instructions were a little wonky as they are not the best. Esp. on which way you set up the bottom. However the rest is fantastic. I love the slide in back with extra support. I was able to put together pretty quickly and they even added in an extra peach which was great as one came a little incomplete. The boxes arrived and all the pieces were counted and checked and they were in good condition. Would most definitely buy again.

Updated my 1 star to a 3 - Seller reached out and tried to resolve issue by offering to replace the items or provide a refund for one of them. I would give a 5 for customer service.I bought two of these. Although they are very stylish, the parts dont fit nicely. Both the doors do not align and on the second one, it does not close all the way and the bottom sticks out. We were going to order 3 for the study but have decided against it. You get what you paid for.
