I bought this after damaging two colanders from trying to steam vegetables on the stove. I was hesitant because I’ve never heard of this name brand and was worried it would be DOA or not work at all.I have used this machine twice only to steam vegetables and it’s been great! I first steamed green beans and baby carrots and was very happy with the results. I just steamed some rainbow cauliflower, baby carrots, and green beans and it’s pretty tender. I love how there are two tiers so you can steam two different items at once. I have not tried to steam meat or eggs so I can’t give feedback on this. The machine is also very easy to clean.Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase, it steams my vegetables with ease, it’s small enough to fit in my appliance cabinet but big enough to steam several different vegetables at once. Definitely worth the $23 instead of paying nearly the same for a good quality metal colander.

I am pleased with this steamer, the right size for a small family, and it cleans easily. Easy to use a simple machine with few functions if all you want is quickly steam healthy meals

The fact that this is a small size steamer is great. I usually just steam dumplings or something small because it’s just two of us in the house. And this is the perfect size. It fits on the counter without clutter. And I’m pleased with how it seems our food. I’m sure you can do larger portions of food because you get 2 baskets. But I rarely use both.

Works well. Not certain of its durability, but for the price it is fine.Doesnt take up much storage space.If you have hard water as I do, use distilled water.

Works great.Manufacture has really been value engineered to the T. Nothing in excess. Very light weight.Compact size.The mechanical timer is easily run past the intended setting. Cannot reverse, just have to let it wind down. No cake and eat it here.I highly recommend! Just can't beat the functionality for the price!

Small and functional. It has timer and auto shut off so you don't have to keep your eyes on it. It’s stackable so doesn’t take much space to store.

I paid about $26 total for this device. I bought it for my mom and it does what it needs to do. The packaging is deceptively small and scared me a little but there's ample cooking space regardless. I wish it came with a guide as to what veggies need what cooking time, with the product you only get a range near the timer dial. To the point, and for what was tested, steaming veggies it works just fine. You get what you pay for, the containers are really thin and not glass, the heating element takes a bit and the base is also plastic. There are more expensive options that will last longer, but in the $100+ range. 2 uses so far and w/o a hitch, (mixed veggies and a serving of sparagus @30 min cooked fine).
