Most walking cast/boots that I have looked at are pretty expensive. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and have been looking for something that I can wear at night and still be able to get up and walk in. 3 AM trips to the bathroom are not fun when you need to remove a brace first!I bought one to try it out because of the price, and am ordering another. This is a solid brace with a good fit. Comfortable enough to wear overnight and still gives good support. I wear a size 10 1/2 shoe, so I went with the large. I would suggest that you go up a size rather than down if you are at the upper end on the size chart.

Most cost effective option there is, period. Top notch quality. I should know, I broke my foot so I had to use this for an extended period time and the product held up so well I was able to give it to a family member and it’s barely apparent it’s even been used. Impressive product for the price.

Well constructed boot with full liner and velcro attached. I think it would work well with ankle problems but there is a 'squeak' when walking. It fit well however after an upcoming surgery, there won't be enough room for bandages and foot due to the molded frame. Although I had to send it back, I think for most people this would be an ideal protective boot. I wear size 7 shoe and bought a small which fit very well.

I do like this boot better than the one from the DME company. It only has three straps so it’s not as tall as the four-strap boots. I will say that the Velcro is extremely aggressive, and I dread having to take the boot on and off. Actually, when I first bought it, I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to separate the Velcro at all.It is lighter than the one from the DME. It does not have much arch support, so I use a little arch support pad. (picture)If you are new to using a walking boot, I recommend the easy up (pictured) for your other shoe. This evens out your hips, rather than having one hip 1 1/2 inches higher than the other hip.Also, a really thick sock is vitally important. I bought a two pack off of Amazon of white tube socks designed for these boots. Do not wear costly thick hiking socks, because the Velcro will rip them up..

I sprained my ankle at the start of my vacation. Boot ordered and found it identical to the one I have at home, purchased via my podiatrist when I sprained same ankle a few years ago.Price is excellent. No issues from Day 1. Put it on to get needed support and I was good to go.I am a size 8 1/2 to a 9. After reading reviews I ordered a small despite directions stating a medium would be best. So glad I went with the small. It was a great fit.

Everything was great EXCEPT....the top of the boot is way too big! I've tightened it as much as possible and it's still huge. I'm not a skinny person, so if you have smaller legs, this probably won't work for you either!!

I broke the side of my foot recently and was struggling. This thing!!!! I am a clutz and it has protected me from further damage. It is also great at easing the pain from tailors bunions as well. Very comfortable. Easy enough to walk in.I wear a size 8 and a half. I got the medium boot instead if the recommended large. Best decision. Medium is still somewhat loose on my foot, so large would have been uncomfortable. It really does save your foot some pain!

I had a severe sprain that put me in a cast for 6 weeks. The cast they gave me was super uncomfortable and hot. I asked my doctor if I could replace it with this and she said yes. It has been perfect. If you have a serious ankle injury, I strongly suggest this one over any of the other more expensive types of walking boot casts. This particular one is extremely heavy duty and the non skid tread on the bottom is better than most shoes (for some reason Amazon will not load the one photos I took of the boot on my foot and of the bottom).

If u need a boot this is the best one out there with the best support. I can't use when driving. But has helped since started wearing it
