Great Coffee maker
I loved this product. So easy to use and quick to set up. You do need to ensure that you keep turning the press portion to ensure that all the water has filtered through the coffee before you can remove it. If you try and remove it too soon, one it will become difficult and if you force it, you might have an accidental spill. My coffee tasted great with no extra granules inside. The cup is a great added bonus that kept my coffee hot for at least thirty minutes, great value for money and so easy to clean. I just run it under a running tap, very portable too for travel.

Makes a great cup of coffee
I love travel gadgets and this is one of them. I've made about 9 cups since I received it and all have been equal. The screw on lid keeps it hot and safe from spills and keeps your coffee hot for quite a while. You can get a hand and forearm work out using this, but it's worth it. I find holding the cup and turning the orange ring started causing a sore spot on the side of my index finger. I find holding the ring steady and turning the cup counterclockwise has resolved that issue. Older people or people with soft hands, like office workers, may find this info handy. I do have to stop maybe twice during the process because it gets a little tough to turn. You will know when your getting close to completing the process when you start to hear a squeaking noise from the from plunger gasket in the cup and then when done, the orange turning ring turns easily. At this point gently pull the threaded tube to the side and the seal breaks. Easy cleanup after that. I use this travel cup at work and it's really handy if you have access to hot water. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Coffee Lovers rejoyce....traveling? This makes a REAL cup of coffee...Keurig quality coffee..
I just lived through a 4 day power outage....without this coffee maker...not sure how I would have survived....I LOVE my coffee!!! I took the Keurig K cups and opened them...put the coffee in the special filter and YUM....what a great cup of coffee. Easy to use and clean....Just ordered a second for my cabin as it loses power a lot....If you can boil water...you can make a great cup of coffee....They have instructions for cold press coffee as well.......I also order the extra filters and case......so worth it!

Pretty fancy: excellent coffee
Very cool. Excellent coffee quality. It takes a bit of effort to keep turning the bottle, as the plastic in the gear heats up a little and becomes slightly hard to turn, but nothing too serious. The result is excellent. The quality of the bottle is also very good.Totally worth it.

Fantastic! For camping or a commute!
Let me just say right off the bat that I don’t drink coffee. However, I really, really enjoy making coffee for my significant other (I still taste test). For the home we have a Chemex, but needed something that would work well for camping (the single pour over baggies and the French press just weren’t working). We don’t need to look any further. This thing is amazing!!! The coffee is consistently delicious and easy to make if you follow the simple steps (which only take tops 2 times to remember). Aside from making a perfectly extracted cup of coffee, keeping said coffee warm on a cold camping morning and being able to grab the cup and go for a hike is just awesome. We looked at the AeroPress, but what sold us was the heat retention of the cup and how compact the entire contraption was, no need for anything additional cups. I have seen a couple of reviews where folks had trouble turning it. This has only happened to me once (and even then my 8 y/o could still turn it) and I think it has to do with the way the pod is situated. Just make sure ALL the bubbles are out before starting the extraction. Don’t hesitate. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!! p.s. For the manufacturer reading this... the only thing that would make this even better than perfect would be a lid that has a sippy opening.

Makes a great cup because it sucks :)
Dropping the coffee puck into the cup and watching it sink is so satisfying. A big part of enjoying coffee is making it and this gizmo is going to be great for camping. The extraction is similar to an aeropress where water is sucked over the coffee grounds. It makes a great cup! The coffee stays hot for hours when using the lid. I have several Wacaco products and they are all awesome.

If its not broken, don't fix it. just use a drip/filter.
I really tried to like this product. But at t he work involved in getting hopefully 8oz of coffee is a bit much. It takes a long time and the components are no bigger than a portable drip/filter system (which I would recommend). This is expensive, and the worst part is that after a good dozen uses, the seal began to deteriorate and now it makes even less coffee than before. The only reason I can't throw it away is I paid too much for it. They couldn't even throw in a lid that has a mouth spout, probably because they are sold separately. I feel bamboozled a bit, especially because it doesn't work well. Also, it smells like old coffee every time I use the mug. So, I tried, but way too many marks against this product.
