Fabric is thin and zipper is rather hard to engage.

Good for cable management!
I like these sleeves, they have helped me organize the cables in my room by quite a lot. The only complaint I have is that sleeves have no way of being connected to each other. In the end I used some velcro to connect them, but I would've been considerably more happy if these had some way of connection from the get-go.
