Supersoft and very lightweight.
A little on the large size length wise on top of a UK pillow (50 x 75cm), but once they are enclosed within the pillowcase, you don't notice the extra fabric as the fabric is so light. Really soft and very breathable. I've bought other zip-up waterproof allergy pillow cases in the past and they hold too much air inside them, making the pillow too full and uncomfortable - even with the zip slightly undone. These pillowcases let air out with the zip fully closed. I am so happy with them and i'm sure they will protect my pillows against stains and dust mites. I suffer from dust mite allergies and these are just perfect.I'll be buying some more of these for my guest pillows!
