Use it all the time, yes it’s soft & fits my hand perfectly. It hasn’t snagged or unraveled. I love this product! Great quality & holds up. Have to let it defrost just a little to make it more pliable around the hand and wrist. The Velcro has held up after constant use. Easy to take the ice bag out to wash outer wrap. Good price, stays cold for awhile. Can manipulate your hand & wrist to do tasks while wearing it. Has lasted with constant use for over a year & still keeps cold. The wrap reaches the entire surface for a greater pain relief.

This thing really works well. Comfortable, provides instant relief, stays cold for awhile. Great price too. Actually it's been a life changer for me.

I recently injured my wrist during a weightlifting workout. I thought I had broke it but luckily it was only a sprain. A severe one, but I'll take a sprain over a broken wrist. I was given a brace and told to put ice on it. I have an icepack at home but it's just a basic pack and I figured I should look for something different. I saw this and noticed I could order via my HRA card, so I did. It arrived quickly and I immediately took the pack out of the brace and placed in the freezer. After a couple hours, I removed it and put it back in the brace. I took some time to soften it up a bit before placing on my wrist. It wrapped easily and adhered without any issues. I was able to wear it and still get things done. It wasn't uncomfortable or bulky. It does get pretty cold so I did have to adjust it once, but aside from that, this worked great! It says you can heat it up as well but I haven't tried that yet. I am so happy with this product! It's made dealing with this injury that much easier.

I have carpal tunnel so I got this. It's very comfortable and works well. I have not used it in the microwave I just keep it in the freezer. The only thing I don't like is when I take it out of the freezer it's rock hard. I thought it was supposed to be gelfilled and squishy like still but it's not and when I put it in the brace and wrap it around my wrist it's just super bulky to where I use the cold pack first then just wrap my wrist with just the brace and nothing inside it. I much prefer the other braces that actually have the stability and metal bar in them than this one.

18 months ago, I snapped my arm in half. Two surgeries, plates and screws, 30 staples, and dozens of hours of OT later, and I am still experiencing numbness, muscle fatigue and those nasty electrical zaps. This hand wrap has been a godsend. It is excellent quality and definitely very durable. I really like the width and length of the Velcro as well. I wear a woman’s size medium glove, and I believe this would fit up to a man’s XL (sizing says up to 9” wrist). There is a slight learning curve with wrapping it correctly, but that’s easy enough to overcome. My pain is mostly focused on the lower wrist, and this ice pack has perfect coverage for what I need. I am also impressed with the Velcro strength, so it does not impede my ability to go about my day (driving, cooking, laundry etc). The wrap itself is machine washable, which is an added bonus. I also think it’s an excellent bang for my buck, and even better, I was able to buy it with my HSA card. I’ve been using this ice pack for the last four months, and I highly recommend it.

I find it to be very good for the back of my hand and my wrist especially. It stays cold long enough but it can be too cold. You don't want to freeze your skin. So you have to put something like this on for 10 to 15 minutes, then take it off and then put it on again etc. The problem is that unlike some others they put no barrier soft material on the inside. So it's a thin layer of plastic against the ice pack that's in it and that's what's against your skin. If it's been in the freezer, it's too cold. I find I need to wrap at least a layer of cloth like a pillowcase thickness around my hand and wrist before I use this. A thin piece of felt would probably work even better. So it's more of a be careful review then one of the product not being good. If there's one available with a soft inside, I would have bought that one instead.

I was greatly in need of something to calm the inflammation and burning sensation of my hands and wrists from recent arthritis. After researching, I chose this ice pack brace. It arrived the next day. I put the ice pack in the freezer and 2 hours later ... RELIEF! I am so happy I bought 2 of them.. although, you could do one wrist at a time. I have big hands and the size is good. The material is slightly stretchy, offering comfort and ajustable compression. The cold flows thru the underside - allowing the cold confort. I am a retired OccupationalTherapist and highly recommend this product.

I don't usually leave a review, but the amount of conflicting reviews I saw on this (which had me concerned before purchase) had made me feel the need to leave a review. I have chronic tendonitis in my wrist and find that this a great quality for its price point, and does its job. It provides pain relief when used and maintains to be hot/cold for the suggested amount of time. It's straight forward to use, although there are instructions that you NEED to read before using it, which is probably where there are some downfalls in other reviews. You are only to use this for a max of 20 minutes, which is literally the recommend medical time for this sort of things if you're required a cold or hot compress. Beyond that time, there's a chance you can cause damage to yourself. If you're going to complain about it getting room temp, it's probably because it's beyond the recommended 20 minutes. Cold: I'd recommend leaving the pack in the freezer for just under an hour, although it's a bit of trail and error, as every freezer is different. You should be able to move the gel around with relative ease, despite being frozen. Use the cold function for initial injury, or it's after your joint is over worked. Hot: The instructions suggest 5-second intervals, but I do mine in 10-second intervals. Again this depends on your microwave, keep checking and between each interval. Make sure to lay this on something, such as a kitchen towel (as recommended in the instructions), as I imagine the hot glass plate of a microwave will do some damage to the pack. Use the heat function before you work your wrist or after the initial inflammation has been reduced. I have relatively small hands (for reference, my wrist has a 16cm circumference/5.5cm diameter) and it is a bit of an awkward fit, but I don't know what people expect, it's not meant to fit like a glove. I can still use a computer mouse and phone if needed with it on, not sure what else you'd need to use it for when you're meant to be resting an injury. Finally, it's only meant to help with inflammation, ease the pain - not exactly the one trick cure! TLDR - It's a good wrist strap, it's comfortable and works, although please read the instructions!
