I could kick myself for not reading Inhibitions sooner. A friends-to-lovers romance, it is the perfect blend of sweet, sexy and funny. I loved the development of the relationship between Owen and Presley. I recommend it and I'm looking forward to reading more from Mattie!

Wow wow wow! Great debut book ! I LOVED the writing and flow. I loved the chemistry and I loved the plot twists. I didnt see that coming and bamm ! Great first book and she has me hooked. Cant wait to read her next one ! Wish it was longer!

Dramatic words...nothing unimaginable. Author tried to put all movie scenes in this story that she thought was her fantasy, but couldn't make it less dramatic and real. Yawn...

Inhibitions by author, Mattie Bowman was a scorchingly hot read. This was the first book I have read by this author and will not be the last. Her writing was truly amazing and the story line in this book was so good. From page one, I was sucked into the story. The is a story that involves characters that are best friends: Presley and Owen. Presley is a columnist and writer for a magazine and Owen is a boxer and Presley's best friend. Presley has to write a story about an exclusive retreat for couples called Inhibitions. The only catch is she has to take her significant other with her which is a problem because right now she isn't in a relationship. So Presley asks Owen to be her fake fiancee and go with her and so the story begins. This book made me experience all kinds of emotions from laughing to crying. The friendship that grows into love is so awe inspiring and gave me butterflies. There are sexual situations in this book but they play such a crucial part in Presley and Owen's journey. I loved the ending to this book. This author can truly write and I will be looking for more of her books. This is a must read and I definitely recommend reading it. I think that you will love it as much as I did.
