This is hands down the best hair pomade I’ve used. It has excellent smell, texture and hold. It won’t leave your hair shiny, hard or greasy. You can easily style your hair the way you prefer but still keep that natural look and feel. And you don’t need to use a lot. I’ve tried at least 5 other pomades snd multiple gels etc. This is by far the best. All natural ingredients too!!

Overall, this an excellent pomade/styling clay that compares very favorably to all of the other high end styling products out there and easily outcompetes anything you'd find at the drug store. It's not life changing, but it's not supposed to be. It does its job and it does it very well. Given the cost per ounce and how little you need to use, I'd say it's a pretty good value.The texture is sticky, almost a little tacky but it spreads smoothly on your hands and is easy to work into your hair. The scent is very mild and not something you notice after you apply it. The hold is high, though in my experience having tried many products from medium hold to extremely high hold, it's on the more medium end of high. My hair is short and it works well to keep shape during the day. I've used it in both damp and dry hair and both work, though the hold is a bit stronger in dry hair. The finish is indeed matte--no extra shine that I noticed. It comes out easily when you wash your hair. All in all, a great buy!

Strong hold without being greasy. Perfect for longer hair, if you don't want the wet look. Can easily run your hands through your hair and it washes out easily.

My hair is thick but starting to thin. Medium length, and naturally wavy. So pomades are a tricky thing for me. I tend to lean more towards leave in conditioners or products that have more of a lotion type consistency. They just seem to work better with my hair. But I’ve been trying pomades to get more hold. This strikes a pretty nice balance for me. The pomade has subtle earthy smell to it that isn’t noticeable after you put it in your hair. Which for me is good. I don’t like conflicting smells with cologne, deodorant etc. It’s a softer pomade that spreads easily in the hands. It didn’t seem to spread as easily through my hair but it still seems to have good coverage, and a little goes a long way. Even thought it says high hold, in my experience iIt has a light to medium hold depending on how much you use. It gives my hair a nice natural hold with some volume to it. I prefer to use it on dry hair instead of damp. I just got better results doing it that way. It says matte finish but in my hair it gives off a subtle sheen. Which I actually prefer. It’s not shiny, more like a healthy sheen. It’s not sticky in my hair either which is something I hate in a few pomades I’ve tried. It also washes out very easily.

I've tried over 10 different men's brands and products looking for something that is strong enough to tame my hair, last a long time, and not with harsh chemicals and so far, this is in my top 3. This men’s hair product I would classify as zero shine and medium hold. It would be great for a natural look but still be able to put texture and style into your hair without it looking unkept. This will be my go-to for the most weekends when I want my hair to still be styled but not in a super obvious way. People will probably think it is naturally styled but I definitely need a strong product, or my hair would look bad. So far so good and it has lasted the whole day and is easy to wash out as well. I like that the product works and is of natural ingredients. I’m very into not using chemical type products on my body. It does not smell strong which is another plus. I will still need to test it out under sports/sweating where most products fail. I should add it is easy to apply evenly and wash off the hands as well where I know not all products are that way.

My husband says this is the best pomade he’s ever used. A little goes a long way and it distributes through the hair easily; no more clumps or greasy spots that other pomades create. It holds his hair in place throughout the day without a greasy look or crunchy feel and washes out easily at the end of the day.I like that it’s not oily or sticky feeling if I touch his hair!A great product at a great price. Will reorder again and again.

Great hair product! I have short thinning hair but need to sculp my hair daily. I only need a small dab to style. My hair is not crusty or clumpy with product which feels good! It even holds when I occasionally run my fingers through my hair during the day. Smells nice, too!

Packs a punch in a little dollop! This stuff works great for quality control and shape without the greasy or sticky feeling of other clay pomades. You don’t need a ton to gain hold of your mane. No offensive or perfume smell. A little goes a long way.
