For use with SilcSkin Pads - Not Meant as a face wash
SilcSkin Cleanser, 4 Fluid OunceFor Use with SilcSkin pads to prepare the skin. This soap is a chemical mess but works well to remove dead skin and clean the silicone pads - my review for the pads is below as well since you need to use these products together.IngredientsIngredients: water (aqua), sodium lauroamphoacetate, cocamidopropyl Bentaine, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, glycerin, sodium Chloride, Butylene glycol, Sodium Methyl Oleoyl Taurate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol.from the product pageCleanse your skin before applying your SilcSkin anti-wrinkle pads. This alcohol-free cleanser gently exfoliates skin and removes dead skin cells and sweat that may hinder the performance of SilcSkin silicone pads. Formulated to be used on the face and body in preparation of the skin for the application of silicone pads. The cleanser can also be used to clean the pads after use. SilcSkin Cleanser is made with glycerin and other high quality ingredients, so it’s extremely clean rinsing and won’t leave any residue, which is important in prepping the skin to wear the SilcSkin Anti-Wrinkle Pads.Silicone pads have been shown to reduce scars and there have been some testing done on their use for wrinkles. I have SUPER dry skin that is sensitive. You must have dry skin that doesn't have any moisturizer on it for these pads to adhere. My skin becomes really itchy if I don't use a moisturizer. My skin has been this way since I was a teen and never experienced acne BUT because it is so dry, I have wrinkles. The pads do seem to help with minor wrinkles but they are so uncomfortable to wear, that I couldn't make it through the night with them on.They stick easily and maintain that stickiness as long as they don't come into contain with any lotion. They can be rinsed off though and the stickiness comes right back. it is recommended to wash these with the soap made by the manufacturer for this purpose. The soap is also very drying when used as recommended. If you can stick with this product, there could be benefits, but I can't do it with my dry skin.from the product pageCleanse your skin before applying your SilcSkin anti-wrinkle pads. Not sure this is really a cleanser?
I ordered this for my wife, who saw it and was interested. Here's what she had to say:I'm always excited to try new cosmetic products - especially facial ones. So I was excited to give this a try.The packaging is nice but nothing too spectacular - which is fine because most cosmetic packaging has gone back to a more holistic, simple look. The pump bottle works well, which can sometimes be an issue if not made well. This one worked fine. The liquid inside is actually much like a heavy gel'ish consistency. It sort of reminds me of aloe vera gel.I used it as a "cleanser" but noticed that it just seemed to stay on the surface of my skin and didn't feel like it was cleaning it. Only then did I discover that this is actually not a cleanser in the traditional sense, but a product to prepare your skin for cleansing I think. I've never come across a product like this but I guess it's something to consider/use if I have time. It doesn't have a fragrance which is nice for many.I give this a THUMBS up if this is the type of product you're looking for. Just know exactly what you're getting compared to what you need! ENJOY!

Not made to be a regular cleanser, preps skin for additional pads.
So I thought this was a regular cleanser; however, this is a cleanser to prepare your skin by removing sweat/dirt/grease for the additional antiwrinkle pads. I tried using this as a cleanser anyway, assuming this should work in the same way as a regular cleanser... to clean the skin! But I did not feel like it left it clean and actually had a small breakout, which I havent had at all in this month prior. I don't think even with the pads I would want to use this as I feel like it didn't get the skin clean and prepped.I do appreciate the asthetic of the bottle, as well as the fact there is no animal testing!

Silcskin gel prep
Silcskin system area gel prep. This is not a traditional cleanser and cannot be used alone as a cleanser. This is only to be used right before you apply the Silcskin anti wrinkle pads. This has a thin gel consistency and will dry your skin out if used alone. Once you have used this on the area you rinse that area and then apply the anti wrinkle pads. This gel can also be used to clean the Silcskin pads. I find this product misleading because of the word cleanser in the title. It is a gel prep for skin applications it is not a cleanser for the skin.

Not the best for your face
Works better at cleaning the pads, not so great for my face. If I stick to using it on just that pads it's a good product to have on hand. Just don't think I would be using it to also replace my face wash.

Interesting skin prep cleanser
I have never used a skin prep cleanser in order to prepare my skin to clean. I don't have the Silc Skin Pads but I do have makeup remover pads. It's a watery type cleanser and I suppose it's working but it's not a step I'd likely take again. I prefer to just clean my skin with cleanser and then use toner afterwards. I may have to work with this a little bit more but overall it seems like an unnecessary step.

Only to be use to prep the skin
The cleanser does not really clean, it prepares the skin for additional treatment. It is meant to be used before using the SilcSkin Anti-Wrinkle Pads. This is a light gel consistency that feel good on the skin and it does not leave any residue, but it also dries the skin. If you do not wear make-up and need to prepare the skin for the moisturizer or any other treatment, the cleanser will work well. It will not work well on its own. I gave it 3 starts because it is not a cleanser as advertised; the cleaning action would be minimal, as I mentioned before, it will work well only if you do not have make-up residue and are ready for the next step.
