So much fun. My son loved it.
My 8 year old spent a few hours of focused time on this, and he enjoyed every bit of it. He loves turning the lights on at night and watching it glow. Makes a very nice birthday gift for any kid who likes putting things together and following instructions..

Everything fits very well and it's more rigid than I thought it would be.
This will try your patience but the instructions are very clear. Just alot yourself several sessions to work on it.

Great fun model for beginners
The model is an easy and fun item to assemble. The pieces are clearly marked, and punch out very easy and clean. The instruction booklet is very clear and the diagrams are clear and concise. There are no text instructions, only diagramsI am giving it four stars instead of five because the company needs to come up with a better way of setting the masts to the deck. It is very flimsy to say the least, and is frustrating as you attempt to continue with the build.Aside from the mast issue it is a great beginner model. No tools are necessary however a small thin bladed straight slot screwdriver is VERY helpful punching out the many slots.

Great quality for the price
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased this for my daughter who is in college and likes to do puzzles when she takes a study break. She put this together in one day because she was so into it and didn't want to stop. It is a GREAT puzzle and something different - it lights up with batteries. We will be buying more of these! Highly recommend

A Great Value on a Better-Than-Expected Product
Gave this as a gift to a fellow Titanic enthusiast and here's what she had to say:"When I received the Titanic model, from some good friends, I was touched by the thoughtfulness, but unsure of the value. My previous experience with paper models were that they looked cheap and were flimsy.CubicFun's Titanic is over 3 feet long, with LED lights and looks expensive when finished. It is amazingly detailed and cleverly engineered. The quality shows in the richness of the colors and the near perfect registration. The only item that was not perfectly printed was the White Star flag which was correct on one side and backwards when the ship was turned around. That said the product is paper over foam, which while being sturdier than paper and cardboard, can't hold a tight tolerance. This is why when you assembly it, I recommend an Exacto knife to enlarge the slots that the tabs go in and glue to hold the tabs in the slots that are too big. If you don't you will be fighting pieces falling off, while you are adding the next piece to the model. Also if you want to move the model, everything needs to be glued down. I recommend a thick gel paper glue that does not dry sticky, I used one made by Kindred stamps but I am sure that you can find similar glue. Less important, but a nice touch is to have several wide point Sharpy Markers, in brown, maroon and black to touch up edges of the tabs and foam so they don't show. I put the kit difficulty between an adult Lego set and a plastic model Airplane.I do recommend the kit to any Titanic lover. Sure is cheaper than than the almost $700 dollar Lego version."Donald J. Must be somewhat skilled with patience
The difficulty level is pretty extreme to me personally but once we got it all done it is very gorgeous and spectacular!
