The leather welding hood protects my head, scalp, hair, and neck. I find it harder to keep my helmet on but that’s almost what to expect. Very lightweight but very protective. I think I have a 7-1/4”~7-1/2” head and it fits well. I would recommend if you are trying to protect yourself.

Fits great, good protection

This is what I was missing for metal work. No more sparks burning my scalp, neck, and ears. This is very comfortable to wear under a welding helmet and also a clear face shield for grinding. Ultimate protection. My hat size is 8½ and it fits me well. My wife says it's not very stylish.

I wear it all day during my work shift , 8-10 hour shifts welding nonstop , it’s worked absolute wonders for me as far as protecting my neck and etc , the only thing I could maybe complain about is the way it fits around the neck when you connect it, I’ve tried any way possible and tend too find myself just leaving it unattached but still on my head, I just keep it tight with my welding helmet

The leather thickness is good. The sewing quality is good. The fit is good.
