Works great. Wish there were instructions
It was super easy to install, except for getting the dummy plug out underneath the back of the car. I broke mine

Perfect fit 2015 Honda Pilot
Excellent fit for my pilot . Easy connections but don’t forget to put the red fuse in. The hardest part of install was getting the dust cover off the wire near the exhaust .

Half the price of parts store or uhaul
I’m going to start off with recommending another review on here. Another customer has commented about how to get the cover off the harness under the car, go read that! Had i not seen their comment I’d still be fighting that dang thing. This is pretty easy to install. There is a uhaul video on YouTube that shows how to do everything else (just search “installing curt 56170” in google search and it should be the first video of a woman installing it). I struggle with with instructions so that video helped a lot. My kit did come with the 10amp fuse for the part that goes inside the back hatch but from what I read some don’t. However it did not come with a Mount to Mount the plug on the vehicle, just zip ties, I’m not too worried about mounting it though.Overall truly satisfied! Glad Honda made this easier than most other vehicles to get lights running for my new (to me) camp trailer! Thank you for having that part available!Delivery was super fast but I live in Oregon and there’s multiple distribution centers near me so most products I order here get to me relatively fast. Happy trails 😊

Great part, save $$$, but awful instructions
I bought this instead of spending $200+ at the Honda dealer for the factory part, and thought I’d save $40 on installation (at uhaul) by putting it in myself. The YouTube videos seemed fairly straightforward. Using YouTube and the poorly written instructions that came with the part (seemingly written in another language and translated to English) I put it in within 30-45 min. The hardest part by far is removing the dust cover from the rear plug behind the left exhaust. There’s a release button but it’s impossible to see and find without having the piece out in the light. Anyway, I got it all installed, went to test it, and...nothing. So I ended up paying uhaul to install after all. Turns out I forgot to put in a fuse that goes into the part that clips in to the compartment in the back (trunk area) of the pilot. So, if you plan on just watching YouTube and reading instructions, plan on failing. Like me. But the part works great and does what it’s supposed to. Way less $$$ than other options.

There are 2 fuses needed for this to work...
I have a 2015 Honda Pilot EX-L, and this harness was super easy to install and worked great for pulling a 5'x8' UHaul trailer to help my daughter move recently. I did run into one hiccup not specifically mentioned in the instructions (or I missed it for some odd reason).A lot of reviews mention the 10 amp bladed fuse that plugs into the little slot on the side of the harness controller wire, but there aren't a lot of hints about the second 30 amp maxi/cartridge fuse that plugs into the fuse box under the hood next to the battery.I did not realize that this kit came with one, so I picked one up at the local parts store on my way to rent the trailer. I happened to find the included one a couple days later when I was messing around out in the garage later cleaning things up. Not a biggie, since they only cost around $5, but I figured I'd mention it in case it helps someone else.

Fantastic super easy
Order this as my new used Honda pilot had a trailer hitch but no wiring for the hitch so I bought this it took about 10 minutes to install very easy the only difficult part was the wiring harness underneath the bumper just pry it off the frame gently and take the cover off the wire plug and hook it up and you’re done that was the most difficult part simply because there was 10 years of grease and debris on the plug cover

perfect fit
This was a perfect fit for my 2012 Honda Pilot and is all you need to get your boat hooked up, I tried to be cheap and get the one for less $ but I had to return as it was only half of what I needed.
