Excellent Plywood for Diode Laser CuttingI recently purchased this laser plywood and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. Using my 36W blue diode laser, the material cut exceptionally well, yielding very clean and highly accurate results.The quality of the plywood is evident, as it allowed for precise cuts without issues often encountered with lesser-grade materials. For anyone using a diode laser, particularly in the 36W range, this plywood is a fantastic choice for achieving professional and crisp outcomes. I highly recommend it for projects requiring fine detail and clean edges.

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but we had bought some of this wood, then couple months later gone back to some use up other wood we had gotten from a different vendor and the difference was very obvious to us.. so I came back to compliment this wood!This wood lays flatter for laser cutting, we don't usually even have to pin it down. We usually only have to sand it once before vs other wood seems to need a before and after sand. Consistent color for all the boards. It is a little thinner than other wood we have gotten, but that only matters if you are making things with slots, so you might just have to adjust your design slightly (not a big deal in my opinion- worth it for the other positives).Great product! And we will be repeat buyers! Fast shipping! And good price! 😊 So glad we found this!

I bought a batch of these Plywood pieces, and another batch from a popular wood store. These came in as a perfect fit for my Laser workspace, nicely cut, and perfectly flat.The other brand came in a slightly larger size so I could feed in and cut larger sizes with multiple passes. Those pieces however came in with a noticeable warp, rough edges, and a label that was not easily removed on every single sheet. Needless to say Woodpeckers is my go-to for plywood now. I have used them frequently in the past for creating Montessori materials from their worked pieces such as their spheres, cubes beads and caps. Thier product is high quality at great prices

I guess this material is pretty hit and miss, judging by the reviews. I decided to take a chance and I was so excited when I received this in the mail. It was packaged well, but when I got it out of the box and placed the wood on my shelf, I saw that the boards were warped. I figured I'd give it ago anyway - I have the honeycomb clips to help hold the wood down so I figured it might be o.k. Well, I have only had a couple of my designs cut all the way through. I just cut one that was cut at full power, 3 passes and some of the pieces still didn't cut all the way through. Several will have to be sanded. I've had to use my exacto knife to finish cutting some of them out, which totally defeats the purpose of having a laser cutter. Ridiculous. I won't be buying this again and I do not recommend it to anybody.

This worked out perfect for my name puzzles. I got hit with almost 100 orders this Christmas and I ran out of wood. I never thought to order from Amazon but I'm glad I did. I received this wood in 2 days and the quality is great for the price!! I would've given 5 stars but there were several boards that were warped. But because I glue my final product on all four sides and the middle, it didn't really cause any issues. Will definitely buy again!

This 3mm birch ply is really pretty and cuts great in my GlowForge Pro! It's a good value for anyone that doesn't have access to buying 4x8 sheets of birch, hauling them home and cutting them down themselves! Almost no imperfections in the box of 20 sheets... 2 teeny tiny knots and 1 small oval patch area on 1 sheet. That's amazing! This is wood people- wood has knots by nature so I never expect perfection.There was a very slight bow to a few of the 1/8" pieces (I bought 40 total) but they still cut perfectly in my laser using the honeycomb pins to hold the wood down a bit. Thin ply like that can bow so easily- that's why I always add a frame to it if I am not cutting it into tiny pieces and frames will keep it straight and flat. I also weighted down a couple of the pieces and that straightenes them out too. It really was no problem at all and totally expected here and there with this thin ply. I'm just mentioning it so that others will know what to expect- I see pol leave a less than stellar review bc of slight bowing of a piece or two here and there, which is just Nature at work.

I purchased this same plywood previously a couple years ago and the quality was good at that time. This most recent order was a big step down in quality.The warping is just so bad on these. Also there were defects that were either poorly patched or not patched at all.Oh the positive side, it burned pretty clean edges and so far I have not hit too many internal bad spots that won't cut.Overall, I could not recommend this product.
