I don’t know what makes me more disappointed, the fact that a fairly high end bag ...
I rarely leave negative reviews but this company has made such an egregious misrepresentation of part of its functionality, that I think the company needs to be exposed for it. I bought this backpack bag to use on short trips, 2 to 4 days. But for longer trips I would combine it with my carry on size roller suitcase. So one of my requirements for the backpack was that it had to have a trolley pass through. A trolley pass through is a design function on a bag that allows you to attach it onto your rolling suitcase typically by sliding a stretchable sleeve over the rolling suitcase’s telescoping handle, securing it to rest on top of the suitcase. As you can see from the picture of the bag’s tag listing it’s design features, they list trolley pass through functionality. However, once I received the bag I couldn’t find a sleeve or any other feature that would service the purpose of securing the bag over a suitcase’s handle. So I went on their we web site and submitted their online request for customer service to contact me and show me the trolley pass through design that they used on the bag. But after a couple days of not receiving any reply, I called customer service but I was only able to leave a voicemail requesting to be contacted back. After a while of not receiving any response, I called again, but again only receiving voicemail. So I called a third time and finally reached a live person, but what he told me just floored me. He said that the trolley pass through was actually the shoulder straps of the backpack. Wow, wish had known that every backpack ever made has trolley pass through functionality designed right in them already. Problem is, the straps on my back pack, and probably every other backpack, don’t tighten down enough to secure the backpack enough to the suitcase handle to keep the bag from just shifting and falling off the suitcase as soon you actually start to walk and pull the bags. This is fairly critical to the whole concept. I don’t know what makes me more disappointed, the fact that a fairly high end bag company that claims they are a brand driven by design missed including such easily integrated functionality, or, how they seem to totally disrespect their customers by so blatantly misrepresenting this design feature in this bag. By the way, customer service has still not responded to my online request for assistance, 7 days ago. I gave the bag 2 stars because other than not having FUNCTIONAL trolley pass through capability, it’s exactly what I wanted. But I can’t respect a company that purposely tries to BS their customers. Bag will be returned.
