I have been using Pleatco Filters for the last few years, BUT when the price went over $90 I ordered this TOREAD Replacement for Pool Filter PA120. I got it for $60. I was a little worried due to some of the reviews I read. Based on my experience, the TOREAD filter is way better than the Pleatco's. I can't believe how much easier it is to Clean them! The Pleatco filters are less quality, hard to clean and they get plugged up so fast. I will continue to buy the TOREAD filters from now on over the Pleatco's. I recommend you order one and judge for yourself. I never thought that the TOREAD filters would have better quality, be easier to clean and not get plugged up as fast as Pleatco does. I have been using the TOREAD filter for 3 weeks and it is clean and white like the day I bought it! My pool is also clean!!

The price was a factor in us looking on line. Much less here than at our local supply store, and the quality was the same. There are tiny differences but not with how it functions, just look.

These are very efficient and a bit cheaper than the pool store. I was a little disappointed when one of the rings inside for structure came out. I jammed it back it and it seems to be ok but I never had any other filters do that. I have always used that to lift the filter off the ground after cleaning but not with these any more.

Easy to clean and does great job filtering. Life saver

When I first opened the product and compared it to my old original Hayward filter they were exactly the same in size and when I inserted it into the filter itself it fit perfectly. What amazed me more than anything was once I turned the pool on, my pool cleaner traveled across the floor of the pool at 10 times the speed that it did with the old filter, my fountain was two times higher than with the old filter. Which meant to me that the old filter even though it looked good had apparently not allowed water through to go through it and allow the vacuum and the outflow to be as efficient as it should have been. It's only been in for 2 days now so only time will tell how long it will actually last.
