NOW Essential Oils, Rose Absolute, 5% Blend of Pure Rose Absolute Oil in Pure Jojoba Oil, Romantic Aromatherapy Scent, Vegan, Child Resistant Cap, 1-Ounce

The fragrance of Now Rose Absolute 5% oil blend is just heavenly! I do wish the concentration were a bit stronger, but I suppose it would be unaffordable with a higher amount of actual scent in the carrier oil. It’s so difficult to purchase essential oils online and I find Now Essential Oils to be a trusted source. Have tried some of the other, less costly brands in the past—even the ones that smell nice are suspect to me. Will probably stay with Now and Aura Cacia for trustworthiness, quality, and value.

As an avid essential oil user especially rose, I seriously feel like people who leave this a negative review don’t understand what “rose absolute 5% ” means. It’s diluted (as it should be) and it is still so potent! If it wasn’t diluted you’d have to dilute it yourself. Besides that you should still be diluting it due to its potency if applying to the face. Anyways, NOW is one of the best and purest brands of essential oils and quite honestly this is the only brand I trust. I put it in skincare, soap, I dab my wrists and neck as perfume.Okay so to break it down, first the scent:This scent is my signature scent. Everyone I know just expects me to smell like rose and specifically NOW’s rose scent. It’s elegant, potent but in a calming and subtle way, does NOT smell like that “overly-mature” smell that a lot of rose scents have But it is mature enough that I feel elegant, classy wearing it As a natural perfume. I love mixing this with vanilla and amber perfumes. This is such a romantic scent, it’s so soothing. Rose is such an uplifting and intriguing scent, it is one of my favorite little joys in life. Use as a perfume, or put in a diffuser, etc. I personally use this in everthing. It goes great with geranium for a room spray.Skin care:I make a face hydrating spray solution with rose water, hyaluronic acid, and this oil, and it’s the only thing that keeps my makeup looking fresh, and keeps my pores small. I have redness issues from a medical condition, and this does not irritate at all. In fact it helps with my redness and keeps my foundation from separating due to heat from my face being flushed. Kind of like a setting spray.Pricing:Absolutely worth the price I think I bought for 15.99$ not including taxLongevity of scent:Average. I keep a mini roll on in my purse. But it used in soaps it’s very potent. I just notice natural rose typically wears off quicker generallyColor:It’s diluted with jojoba so don’t expect it to be clear obviously oil has a colorSize:This bottle lasts me two months with pretty heavy usage. If you’re candle making or soap making it’ll go decently far but I’d buy 2 if you want one for soap or candle making and wanting some just for daily use.Overall 10/10 Amazon please keep this on your site!! <3

Such a pretty scent. Very subtle with good throw, even in a large room. Hubs even likes it bc it’s not sickening sweet like others I’ve tried.

Delivered quickly, nice smell. grape seed oil is the only oil that does not make me break out. This is 95 percent grape seed oil with 5 percent rose oil. Since I buy grape seed oil at about $5 for 16 oz for my calendula, chamomile infused oil recipe, this is a lot more expensive if you are just using it for a moisturizer.Many other reviewers brought up the fact that true rose oil is much more expensive. I've seen true rose oil for $50.00 for a bottle half the size of this blend and it is powerfully potent in scent. So if you are wanting a nice true rose scented face oil, this is a reasonable choice and compared to a department store or beauty store price, say sephora or ulta, this is a deal.I wouldn't recommend this for scenting oil burners, candles or soaps, it isn't strong enough and I don't think it is intended for that.I didn't get a dropper applicator with this as some other reviewers have mentioned and it drops very slow, which is accurate for dabbing on facial skin as a small amount is actually needed.

I buy rose for gifts. I am on my 3rd bottle, I mix it with lots of scents.

Do yourself a favor and heed the negative reviews. I decided to take a chance and it was a big mistake. The essential oil arrived having spilled all over the inside of the box, proceeded to continue to cascade out as I tried to open the bottle and the worst part- it smells like rotten roses, as others have said. Even though it's a smaller bottle, I'll be continuing to purchase Aura Cacia in the future.
