PURPFM350V Faucet Mount, Metallic Grey, One Size

This doesn't work outside of the US, which was not made clear on the ad when I bought it. Spent a lot of time trying to find an adaptor that fits both sides to use it in the UK, managed to find one, but still leaks everywhere

The description makes it seem like it’s actually made from stainless steel. It’s not! It’s as plastic as can be, but with a chrome paint job over it. It works fine, but that was deceptive advertising. I’d return it if U thought I could get another one, but it appears that there aren’t any more Pur filters available in the UK.

Have been using the product for almost 2 years, always changed the cartridges and it does the job. But now, out of the blue, a seal along the line where the two parts of the housing (one part is mounted to the faucet, the other one holds the filter cartridge, but it looks like one piece at first glance) are joined has failed and now water is spraying everywhere, directly out of the body. On top of that it's nothing I can do anything about as this seal is not something you can access and replace. It's simply the line where the two housing parts meet. Reply from the seller was "every product has its life" but for a filter that wasn't exactly cheap to simply start falling apart in places that are not even subject to any force or movement or any external impact, looks like a case of bad manufacturing. Not a problem if this is dealt with swiftly, but simply saying yeah well you have to buy a new one is not acceptable really. Two stars becuase product did the job before falling apart, other wise would have given one only.

This new device needs to be screwed onto your faucet and none of the additional adapters fits. When asking for another adapter as advised, they tell you, they send them only to the US and Canada. Waste of money and time.

The media could not be loaded. I like the ease of installation and it comes with three tap adapters. The water tastes a lot better.However, the functionality and design is below average. The filter leaks a lot especially when switching the filtered water on. I followed the instructions, made sure the attachment was level and tightened it all the way but it still leaks.Washing large pots or filling a kettle is not a bit of a squeeze due to the size of the filter in a standard size sink.
