Upon the second cataract operation, it became clear that I would suddenly need help with my up-close vision. I purchased this 4-pack and have them stashed all over the house, in my purse, by my computer, etc.These are the half-lense ones. You perch them on your nose. I will admit, that in some cases it gets a little hard to choose exactly where to position my head so I can see everything I need to. At my volunteer job, it's get rather busy and I guess I'm not good yet at remembering what and how far away are the things I need to attend to.But that's not the glasses fault. They are well made, comfortable, sturdy, light and at a good price. They work great. You do have to do some work deciding on what strength you need. In my case, hubby had some lying around and they worked for me, so I ordered that strength. Or, you could pay a visit to Walmart, or other store or drug store, and check out the different strengths at their reader displays.I may purchase another set of these glasses, so I truly am covered by having a pair close when I need them. Think about how many times you pick up your phone a day. You will need them handy all the time.

These glasses are perfect for a petite person; I am 5 ‘ and weigh about 106; these fit better than any I’ve found. They are funky fun colors. I am enjoying them!

I've had cataract surgery (both eyes). I also had post-operative treatment for capsular opacification for both eyes. (All this surprised me quite a bit because up to age 50 I had splendid 20/20 vision). Getting older is a bear, yo! I wish I was among the lucky ones who need no correction at all after these procedures, but I do need readers. My distance eyesight is great now so these half glasses are exactly right for me. I will also even go as far to say I think these are CUTE. It's the pop of color that makes them attractive. It's a great price, so when you inevitably lose one or two it's without too much pain.
