Been using this GPS for some time. SOLID.

Bought this for doing top speeds with my RC cars. It works great for that purpose. Haven’t tried the other features yet. It’s easy to select the function you want. The only negative is that the battery doesn’t seem to hold a charge very well when it not in use, but it charges pretty fast so not a big deal. I installed a strip of Velcro on the back of the GPS and also on the underside of the RC bodies. It holds securely and makes it easy to transfer from one vehicle to another.

Of course I see these EVERYWHERE on everyone's rc cars n when I bite the $100 bullet mine..is defective..theres no screen display..I see no mph, peak speed..no display on the right side of the screen..I cant tell what mode I'm in.. highly disappointed shicks have Just used the simple bike speedo

For basic, and I do mean BASIC functionality, this is ok. If you're hoping to log the GPS data, along with time, just want to see peak speed and/or altitude on the display or in the software it comes with, it will do those things well enough. However, if you're hoping to log the data, and want anything more than date, time, and the GPS point, look elsewhere. The logged time is in "human" format - not a date timestamp format that java or python can use, it's also 12 hr in the logs, but 24 hr on display and no way to change it with the device or the software for the device, also the logs only provide time stamps for the local time zone the device is in, as opposed to UTC. Then there's the fact that it does not log the altitude or speed, it calculates it, but doesn't log it, umm, seriously, WTF. Price to Functionality fail. Currently looking at other options that log EVERYTHING, and am finding they cost less.

Does the job. Attached this with velcro to the top of my Traxxas Slash to test speed. I should have put it inside. Flipped the Slash end over end about eight times. The GPS was scratched up miserably but it still works. Pretty tough device.

I wish the LED display was brighter or a back light when using. I bright light it is very hard to see. It is pretty accurate. If the LED was brighter 5 stars.
