Good book for learning the Art of Anaglyphs!
This book does a good job teaching someone the basics to drawing their own anaglyphs. I did not like the compass that came with the book. The colored pencils slip out of place, and I never got enough pressure on the pencils to make a dark mark. Even though I thought the book was very good, it falls short in giving you enough information on where to buy the tools to make your own anaglyphs.

Unrelated to 3D pen
Has nothing to do with the 3D pen. A sort of workbook for drawing and using 3D glasses to make art look 3D. It's fairly repetitive, but there's only so much one can say.

kids love it
With all the 3D movie technology coming out these days, it's a perfect eye catcher for the modern kid.My son's love it, one of them received it as a birthday gift...the only issue...it's hard to share one pair of 3d glasses. We had to buy another set, but no complaining there.

my best ever buy
I bought this book as an xmas present, and I am delighted, it is even better than I could have imagined. Initially there are some pages where "3D" is explained with a few simple diagrams, then the book launches into an abundant section of double spread scences in which 2/3 things are already drawn and there is an 'idea bubble' giving a suggestion of what else to add. One scene I remember is a diver close to a ship wreck, so it just remains to add a few simple fish or a shark and the scence is finished. After this there are sections for drawing cartoon-like faces and people in action, for writing and for experimenting with 3D, in which the lines of the 3D grid are close toghether or far apart to see how this effects the "depth" of the 3D. There after there is a more than generous amount of empty 3D drawing pages for doodling. All in all, this book has a lot of mileage in it. A very worthwhile buy for any kid (from 7yrs and up) who enjoys drawing and experimenting.

Jump in 3D
create amazing images that leap from the page (when wearing 3d glasses). Its very reminiscent of watching Jaws for the first time in 3d without glasses there two lines put them on and hey presto.I bought this mainly for the compass so I could work on a piece of art, so wasn't sure if I'd get much use out of rest of the package but have had fun experimenting with my youngest and trying the different activities suggested in the book. There is also some 3d pages in book that work without glasses due to printed squares (very much like school graph paper).I think theirs a lot in the kit and it was well worth the price.

Excellent stocking filler
Bought this for a friends 9 year old who Absolutely loved it. Great price too. Does need special graph like paper for it to work on but these are available relatively cheaply on amazon too.
