Great Sound, great battery life
I bought the Avantree Torus and the Avantree Orbit Pro to address three specific requirements. The system addresses a couple of those requirements perfectly, but fails on the third. I currently have the Orbit Pro connected to my Sony TV/Sony Soundbar via the Optical cable.Pro’s:Overall, the system works great to provide you with high quality remote listening capability. The low latency Bluetooth eliminates any lip-sync issues. The Torus headphones/speakers have a great sound an exceptional battery life.Con’s:Though the system uses Low Latency Bluetooth, there is still sufficient delay to create an unacceptable echo between the TV output and the headphone output. The Orbit Pro does not provide an eARC HDMI output, so you cannot connect it via HDMI if you are using an ARC/eARC Sound Bar or Home Theatre System. The remote requires a lot of pressure to control the volume. The remote is somewhat redundant, as the headphone volume up/down feature provides the same function.1) I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and watch the TV in the family room through a pass-through window. In order to hear the TV, I have to crank up the volume, which bothers my wife. With the Torus/Orbit Pro I can roam around the kitchen and hear the TV perfectly. The Torus are loud enough that my wife can still hear the sound, but the volume is low enough that it does not bother her. Also, if it does start to bother her, the Torus has the earbud option which silences it completely. I did a bit of research and testing before buying these, and the Low Latency of the aptX HD Bluetooth ensures there is no visible lip-sync delay. So, 5 stars for this application.2) I enjoy watching college and pro football, but my wife hates it – especially the constant continuous discussion by the sports announcers. Once again, the combination of the Torus with the Orbit Pro works perfectly. So, 5 stars for this application.3) I am retired, and have a bit of hearing loss. I have been putting off getting hearing aids and I end up listening to the TV at a fairly high volume. Even with the TV at this volume, I struggle to catch every word of the dialog. I had hoped that I could use the Torus and Orbit Pro to boost the volume for me, without making it too loud for my wife and others in the room. Unfortunately, even though the Torus/Orbit Pro use the aptX HD Low Latency Bluetooth components, there is still a delay. This delay is bad enough that I have to mute the sound from the TV and Surround sound system to use them. So, for this application, the rating falls to 1 star.

I think better than the Bose Soundwear and more than a third less than it
FIRST AND FOREMOST THESE FIT, I have a huge neck at something like 22in and I have tried half a dozen of these speakers and I was afraid that this was going to be another hard plastic premoulded thing, it's not. The center is flexible (not crazy, but not rigid either), meaning they hug my neck securely without choking me.This is the second product I've bought from them, a brand I knew nothing of or about, just went off of an image looking for a tiny soundbar for my laptop, which by the way, the Avantree Torpedo Plus is amazing, and then saw this was offered as a suggestion too. Curious, I picked it up. I am so glad I did.Pros:-They fit as I've said, have had issues with that in the past, was also a huge issue when shopping for tethered earbuds since I'm not a cans person. Thankfully truly wireless earbuds are now a thing. They fit and are comfortable. I think these could fit up to a 25in neck circumference.-Sound is pretty great in speaker mode, and they get very loud. To the point that they're a little overpowering to your hearing. Great bass that you can feel, literally, like neck massager levels, so that might turn some people off. This device was also the only one I've tried where I got a message from my phone telling me to switch the BT codec to get the best audio quality out of it, and I didn't notice much difference, but the phone knows that these aren't normal BT audio devices.Cons:-In speaker mode the sound quality seems to ONLY be at its best when at max volume, then drops off when decreased. It gets weird sounding like echoie/airy, it's interesting.-Earbuds also seem to drop the quality a bit, but doesn't suffer from the quality loss when the volume is decreased. While on the topic, the switch for the earbuds is hard to find and hard to toggle, which is good and bad. I like that it can't easily fall into earbud mode, but also, means you have to stabilize and support the speaker to toggle it.Conclusion:At 3.33x less than the bose offering these are quite nice and in my opinion a superior offering. I can't wait to do work around the house now. Since I actually don't know what happened to my bose as I'm typing this. Also, with these you don't have to pull back the fabric covering to reveal the charging port. A little warning, don't put them on your dog, he'll freak out, I did not see that response coming out of my Coon Hound. So, yeah, I might buy more of these and will definitely be buying more from this company. Glad I found them.

Good Quality
1.The speakers have good audio quality and volume.2.The headphones are uncomfortable, they do not have good audio quality and when you remove them they make a strange noise and the cable is short.3. It is a little heavy and big but it is not uncomfortable.4. Connectivity is poor, if it remains paused after 30 minutes, it requires connecting manually, the volume does not adjust from the speakers to the headphones, so you should check the volume first.5. If you have it linked to more devices, it connects to both if they are close and you have to manually close the Bluetooth of the device that is not in use to disconnect it.I use them when I walk the dog to listen to audiobooks and it is magnificent, the sound is not lost in open spaces unless there is a very loud noise. If the speakers were a little closer to the neck I think the loss of sound clarity in noisy environments would be reduced. After 6 tries with different devices, I'm sticking with these.

Great sound, very comfortable, low latency and highly recommended
I wanted a wireless headphone for my metal detector. I saw this and was excited for the possibility of being able to wear my wide brimmed hat while out in the sun all day. I was also concerned that bending over with these on would create a problem with them falling off. That doesn't happen at all and I love these and can't imagine going back to regular headphones. The sound is excellent and the latency is very low. A concern with metal detecting.I highly recommend these and am happy with my purchase.
