I was looking for some small parts containers to hold various size RC car nuts and bolts, screws, clips, etc. I wanted adjustable cubbies, but also wanted them to seal pretty well as I have some very tiny things like set screws and small clips that always seem to get lost. After some research, I settled on this Creative Options organizer. First the good:- The size is great- there are a lot of compartments but the organizer doesn't feel too huge and awkward.- The ability to customize the compartments.- The latches seem pretty solid.- The hinge area is an actual hinge and not just thin plastic that bends.Now the so-so:- You don't get enough dividers to create all the actual compartments. I'm guessing most people probably aren't buying this customizable container to use in that standard configuration, but it would be nice to have that option.- Not all the dividers fit "snug" into the slots. I understand this is a piece of molded plastic and not a super high-tolerance piece of machinery, so I was kind of expecting this. The majority of the dividers are pretty snug and won't slide up and let small items sneak into the adjoining compartments, but some of the dividers are totally loosey goosey (technical term). If you have a layout you like and never plan on changing it, I think a few small drops of cyanoacrylate glue on the bottom of each loose divider would keep them in place.- On a related note a lot of people complain that the dividers are hard to separate from each other. I'll admit the tabs connecting all the dividers were larger than I expected, but hardly difficult. If you have a pair of wire cutters/diagonal pliers, those make quick work of them. A good pair of scissors will work also, or a utility knife- just be safe! I used wire cutters to separate the dividers, then a pair of toenail clippers to get all the extra tab flashing off- that method worked great.One last thing to note- since the parts I keep in this container are super small and I might only have 1-10 of each, they are really hard to get out with just your bare fingers. I keep a pair of tweezers in the box with my parts and use those to grab the smallest items. Now if Plano made this same exact container but at half the height, that probably would've been perfect for me (maybe they do and I didn't see it..) Either way my tweezer method works and for the larger items/items I have a lot of, the height is just perfect. So perfect I bought a second one because I have way too many small parts!

Perfectly good quality storage box with a lot of flexibility. One important thing that wasn't obvious to me prior to purchase is there are two fixed dividers running the length of the box that form sections that are 1-7/8" wide. The remainder of the width forms a section 3-7/8" wide. Dividers can be added to break the smaller sections at increments of 1-1/8" providing for compartments 1-7/8"x1". The larger section has dividers at 2-1/4" increments providing for compartments 3-7/8"x2-1/8". The depth of all compartments is 1-3/4".The dividers are provided as they come out of the molds, stuck together by small tabs. They will need to be trimmed carefully with a sharp-edged tool before they can be used. You will not be able to simply snap them apart and have them go right into the box. The dividers have ridges along two edges that lock them securely into the slots. A third edge has rounded corners that allow that edge to fit pretty tightly against the bottom. I can't imagine storing anything in this box so small that it could shift from one compartment to the next on its own.The smallest possible compartments, at 1"x1-7/8", are so small I would have difficulty grabbing tiny parts from the bottom. Smaller fingers would no doubt have less difficulty with this.

These boxes are great for all kinds of storage. I use mine for some of my jewelry making supplies. They are sturdy and i like the fact you can manipulate the size of the individual compartments. Unfortunately, that's also my only issue. Because you can pull out the dividers, they sometimes come up on their own and the contents in between mix with the other compartment. Since i use mine for a lot of small beads, i keep them in little baggies. This doesn't allow mixing and also allows me to keep many more types of beads in the box.Very good product, I will buy again.

I was unsure due to some of the reviews sharing broken product but ultimately I let the overall rating and price drive my choice. I’m so glad I did. It is perfect for sorting buttons and there’s room to expand if I decide to categorize differently or my collection grows.One thing I will share is that the bottom row could not be divided into two rows, making smaller cubbies like the ones above. Perhaps the manufacturer could consider adding slots on either side of the long divider pieces?

This is a really sturdy container. The only the reason for four, not five stars is that when you separate the dividers you're left with little tabs. You need a blade to cut the rest of the tab off order to use the dividers, they won't fit otherwise.

really great product for the money your paying, i would buy more in the future! the only negative thing about it is that some of the plastic square inserts get loose and it doesn't hold items well ... before i got the product i read other peoples reviews that instructed to cut all the connective plastic off when cutting apart the tile squares .. but if you cut it all off the fit gets loose on some areas in the box and you won't have more plastic to work with for a better fit .. so i recommend when cutting not to cut all the strip off LEAVE a tiny flap left for a good fit !

Pros: adjustable size compartments, locking lid, sturdy material.Cons: dividers are attached to thick plastic that takes utility knife to cut apart, and the connectors have to be cut close to allow the dividers to fit.We used the first one to build a travel first aid kit. It worked so well that when I decided to store my batteries in a box instead of ziploc bags, this was the first product I thought of. Works quite well for both. Able to set compartments for bandaids, single serve pills, small bottles of anti-nausea pills, etc. Also fit AA, AAA, C and even D batteries.

I don't like how I was left to cut the dividers apart myself. The price along with the half finished product doesn't seem right imo. Took me over half an hour to cut the dividers apart myself. Scissors would allow me to cut close enough (twice to remove the whole square connection) to ensure the peices would fit in the slides, so I had to use a blade. My hands are sore from it, and I work with my hands for a living. FYI- it's not a breeze.Other than that it seems like a durable product.

Es de muy buena calidad, cierra muy bien y mantiene todo organizado, tiene espació y divisores para crear áreas muy pequeñas, medianas o grandes, le cabe bastan.Lo complicado solo es cortar correctamente los divisores que vienen unidos por tiras de plástico, batalle un poco por que no tengo tanta fuerza en las manos, con unas tijeras de buen filo o cutter se puede hacer muy bien.

Just right for the semi precious beads. Quality of the product is terrific, The locking hinges are well made. (I have had some that they broke off after just a little use) I thought the price was a little high because I bought Plano containers in the same size and closures and they were 6 dollars cheaper,.

I have seen this size for cheaper but honestly not having to go find one that's this quality and have it here the next day is awesome and it'll fit everything we need!! The clips also seem very sturdy so this is a must for me!! All in all its worth it!!

I love the over all size of the organizer, and that you can create smaller compartments. I wish that you could make a bigger one. This one comes with 3 long spaces dividing the organizer equally, I wish you could remove one so that you would be able to keep tools in side. It has been perfect for my quilling paper for all the different colors.
