Fables, Myths, and Fairy Tales Writing Lessons [Student Book only]

I started IEW Fables for my 1st grader. I was introduced to the IEW writing system by a community of homeschooling moms. It is really a hidden gem that I wish all public and private school would use to teach writing.I used to think someone is just gifted with writing skills while others are not. But IEW has a system of teaching writing much like learning multiplication. No one if gifted in multiplication at the beginning. You take baby steps like skip counting, memorizing, flash cards, etc. IEW does this for writing.I didnt hesitate to start this for my 1st grade because it breaks down outlining, writing, summarizing in a way my 1st grader can understand. My 4th grader is using the Medieval book but it builds upon the same principles so I was eager for my younger one to start it earlier in life.This arrived 2 days ago and we already completed 2 lessons because my 1st grader devoured it and wanted to read more fables in the book.Overall, I highly recommend this and love it so much, I am even letting my kid write on it instead of photocopying the original so that it could be her own. Haha.
