Solid, entry level hi end cables for better systems.
I like my cables as short as needed. I prefer a clean look, even in the back where no one else sees, without bundled or twist tied slack. It's hard to find cables between 1-3 feet. These were one of the only I could find to fit the bill. Maybe overkill for my system. Solid connectors; thick, attractive insulation; labelled for direction in vs. out.I can hear a difference between some cables. Problems are always with the free or cheaper cables, which included mono price brand in my sampling. The worst have connector fit, signal interference or sound quality issues. I've also noticed some cables can produce higher volume levels using the exact same setup, measured by dB meter and noticeable by ear. They say the best cables offer better dynamics and transition, but I haven't tried super pricey cables yet to compare.I think the best value on Amazon, price to quality and performance, is the Kabel Direkt brand. For my most basic or portable units, in case I misplace a cable on the road, I use star tech or Parts express brands of cable which are good but cheap. My good 2.1 systems under 500 total cost each get Kabel Direkt. But my best system pushing 1k in cost got these AQ Towers. I can't say the AQs sound better than the KDs, but they look nicer and are the length I wanted. The main feature in the next step up within AQ, evergreen, is the braided jacket, which I didn't feel merits the additional cost in my application. If I ever move to more expensive systems, I will probably try out proportionally priced cables. Not because it's necessary, but I already think my current main system sounds pretty awesome. Any upgrades would be in pursuit of audiophilia and at that point cost would be secondary. If you're taking the time to read reviews on these cables, you're probably already on that journey.

Nice cable...
Better than the cheap version that came with a device. Good quality and construction.

Jury is still out
I’m a fan of Audioquest and have a few of their interconnect cables, I think they sound good…but I upgraded from a GearIt version of this cable for an additional $20 and it was much more quiet. I had to adjust the volume a decent amount to get to the same level. Can’t really tell if it sounds better yet. The construction is better, so there is that.

Happy that I purchased it
I am using this cable on a CD player. I had used an old RCA cable with a separate adapter to 3.5mm prior to this purchase. In parallel I had used an optical connection as well which sounded so much better, especially in the mid range. That surprised me because the D/A converter from the CD player was supposed to be superior. So I decided to buy a high quality cable to see how this would work. The AudioQuest cable literally eliminated the sound difference. Now both connections sound great and I actually do prefer the analog connection via AudioQuest over the optical connection because it sounds slightly warmer. Don't regret the investment.

Great sound quality, decent price
Smooth and clear sounding, just as they advertise. Cables matter, many people don’t believe that but it is true. I have liked everything I have purchased from this company. Also lowers the noise floor considerably.

Excellent quality!
Absolutely zero distortion and amazing sound quality! Just need to get more cables from this amazing company. I had a pair of cheap Amazon cables and I had about a 9-10 db difference just by using this cable! I’m loving Audioquest. Excellent quality!

Sturdy, well-built cable with crystal clear sound
Exactly what I wanted from a 3.5mm RCA cable. This thing is sturdy and forms a snug connection with both the RCA inputs and any 3.5mm port. I use this to run my iPhone, computer or CD player through a Yamaha receiver and I could not be more pleased with the sound quality. Worth your money.

You can hear the difference
I would have been skeptical about this product if not for my prior purchases of the AudiQuest PEAR and FORREST HDMI cables.I am not an audiophile but I do enjoy music and I can appreciate the subtle differences in clarity, tone, etc. Like the HDMI cables, I can hear the difference the TOWER 3.5 to RCA cable makes when used from iPhone to stereo. In my opinion, if you have a mid-level or above sound system and want to make the most of the sound reproduction (and yes, have a few extra $$), I would get this cable. If you have an application where there may be interference or "noise" in the sound you hear, get this cable. My audio system: "vintage" DENON AVR-2800 with Infinity PRIMUS 252 Tower Speakers, Infinity center speaker and yes, two ancient Optimus XTS-10 Satellite Speakers.
