As usual, Channel Lock quality shines through with this product. I have a 10 inch set of these, and they have served me faithfully for over forty years. Recently, I found myself need a second pair of these groove lock pliers while working with a drip irrigation system. I have a soft jaw pump pliers, but they really could not get the grip I needed to tighten the fittings on the controller. With these, no more drips while the zone is running, at least not until the rubber washers fade away. With both sets of pump pliers, I no longer dread making more leaks than I'm trying to fix!

You can never go wrong buying a Channelock product, the best quality there is. Have used them for many, many years.

Still a good brand for now
I bought Channel Loc because they have always produced great hand tools. The quality of this tool is slightly less and I had to take a star off. Tool arrived without that clean tool look and honestly may have been slightly used. There was even a tiny dent where the jaws hit each other when the tool is opened fully. Not enough to really matter for the way I use tools, but makes me worry. Of hate for us to lose another quality tool brand.

I went through Amazon and bought nearly every pair of Channellock pliers available. The quality and finish is outstanding, and they never fail to do the job. Best of all, I want my kids to see that you can still get high quality tools made in the United States.
