Nite Ize S-Biner MicroLock Stainless Steel - S-Biner with Locking Dual Sided Gates - Keep Keys Secure with Carabiner Key Holder - Black (2 Pack)

These are very handy little carabiner clips. I initially purchased a set of two Size #1 S-Biners as part of several different items I wanted to try out along with several other products in my search for the most suitable combination of rings and clips to organize my keys, and I've since added a selection of these S-Biners for various uses.What I've learned is that Nite Ize produces these S-Biners in various sizes and materials and finishes, each suitable for certain purposes. They're all well made, and in my opinion they are all a good value. I particularly like the locking models that are also available, both this small MicroLock size, and the larger SlideLock(see the models at the bottom of the listing below).This locking style S-Biner is particularly useful since it reduces the chance that something attached using this clip will become accidentally released, which is something I've had happen when using the non-locking style slip. This particular locking S-Biner is only available in the very small size, so for someone who wants the locking feature then the other locking style should also be considered since it's available in two larger sizes.After going through a mini research project of my own in order to both determine the relevant dimensions of the various sizes, as well as find the best listings for them on Amazon, here is a guide to simplify this process for others.IMPORTANT NOTES:- I've done my best to determine representative listings here on Amazon for each of these models. These little S-Biner's are very handy little Tools. Top notch Carabiner Clips to be sure. I initially purchased a set of two Nite Ize S-Biner's as well as several other different items. This product and the other products were ordered in an attempt to find a combination of rings and clips to organise my keys, and I've since discovered that these stood out amongst the crowd and were so useful I couldn't not recommend them to anyone looking to reorganise their key-chain. They have various uses, various sizes and materials and finishes. They are all well made, and in my humble opinion these are a great buy and good value for the price. I particularly like these because they have this unique locking system. Which is very sturdy and does not break easily. There's also a version's that come without this locking system. I have not bought the other version's but they seem good too. I bought the black version. It's very simple and sleek, it really blends right in with some of the other gear I have acquired. You will hardly notice it which I believe is a good thing. I live on an Island and work on the beaches as a waiter so these would have been exposed to sand, salt and water and they still look brand new. I have heard the locking system can break and leave things coming off the Biner. This has not happened to me yet but it's something to consider. I hope this helps you make a decision.

Great solution that only comes apart when needed, not unexpectedly. Solid and dependable locking mechanism that can be unlocked with a simple 1/4 turn. Small enough to be unobtrusive yet strong and solid.

This product was delivered on time and as advertised. These S-biners work as described. These are very small. I intend to use them as quick release locks for zippers on personal or carry-on airline luggage. I would also use them to attach and lock keys inside this luggage. Four stars as I have not field tested them yet. I may purchase the next larger size.

Slick, small, efficientUsed to clip my keys onto my purse. Small enough to be out of the way, strong enough to do the job easily.

Bought several of the small size of these to secure zippers on suitcases, backpacks and purses while traveling through Italy and they worked great! Hubby was fine with the black but I liked the fun colors. They hook 2 zippers together and then lock to further protect. Worked great! I’ll definitely use for further travel. Even used on our checked bag and held secure and super durable.

This is the perfect size to use to hold two ends of a zipper closed on a purse or backpack as a way to protect against pickpocketing during a trip to Europe. These are small and discrete. It's not too difficult to open the lock in the middle. It is certainly difficult enough that opportunistic thieves will have a hard time with the sleight of hand required to slyly grab something from you, even if you're distracted and in a crowded place. NOTE: if you have long nails like me, it can be a bit harder to disengage the latch.
