🌿 Stay ahead of the climate curve with precision humidity insights!
The EISCO Wet-Dry Bulb Hygrometer features dual thermometers—one dry bulb and one wet bulb—to accurately measure relative humidity through evaporation-based cooling. Its compact wall-mounted design (11.5" x 3" x 0.5") makes it perfect for classrooms, labs, or home use, providing reliable data for environmental science, meteorology, and physics applications.

wet/dry bulb
Excellent for tracking humidity in the house summer and winter. Quite accurate - checked both bulbs in ice water that had stabilized at 32F. Both reading were spot on 32F. My last one (dropped it and broke) was off about 2F on the wet bulb. I managed to move the glass - checked it again - then put a drop of superglue on one of the hold downs. It is not super lab quality (I'm a chemist), but for the $23 it is a very good instrument.

Junk
DO NOT PURCHASE. IT IS NOT RETURNABLE IF DEFECTIVE!!! The two thermometers do not read the same temperature when both are dry. One reads 65f the other 100f.TOTAL RIP OFF. DO NOT PURCHASE>

Understanding the relationship of humidity and temperature
Educational and fun to calculate although the chart is in small type.

Looks and work like it should.
Some people have stated that the thermometer did not match the same temperature. Well thats because one is wet for humidity knows as the wet bulb.

Works as stated.
Seems to work as stated. The actual temp seems to read about 1 degree lower than it should but they matched each other out of the box. The delta temperature is what is important for a hygrometer.I wish it had a stand or would stand on its own. You have to find somewhere to hang it.

meter was defective and can't return part.
The wet bulb temp is 90F when dry bulb room temp is 69F even with cold water in sock. Obviously wrong fluid is in tube. Amazon will not allow a return because of hazardous fluid in tube. Now I am out over $20. See picture.

Completely miscalibrated
The two thermometers are completely off. Checked them vs standards, vs ice/water and they are all over the place. If you can't trust their simple temperature measurement worse yet a dry bulb - wet bulb difference.

Waste of money
The two thermometers didn't agree by 20 degrees. Amazon said it couldn't be returned because it contained hazardous fluid. Since when is alcohol and water hazardous?
